History of Sesame Place Book Now Available!

As we first reported back in April, history book publisher Arcadia has released a new book about the history of Sesame Place.

Authors Guy Hutchinson and Christopher Mercaldo Bios are two avid Sesame Place fans that grew up visiting the park. They've since gone on to become a theme park writer and a theme park and attraction designer respectively

Here's the official book description:
Since opening in 1980, Sesame Place theme park in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, has been the Northeast’s premier destination for fun, learning, and entertainment for children and adults alike. This wonderful playland has seen immense change and growth from opening day, ever adapting like Sesame Street itself to engage the newest generation of kids. Here, the original Muppets™ from Sesame Street created by Jim Henson, such as Big Bird, Grover, and Cookie Monster, as well as the newer residents, such as Elmo, Zoe, Murray, and Abby Cadabby, come right out of the television and into attractions, shows, parades, meet-and-greets, and more.
Now, thanks to Amazon, we now have a few pages from the book to wet your appetite, be sure to click on them to make them bigger:

Whether you've grown up visiting to the park, or this is your first experience with Sesame Place, it looks like Guy and Christopher's love of the park is on full display in each page and a great way to celebrate the parks 35th anniversary.

If you can't make it to the park to pick up a copy of your own, Amazon has it now for half the cover price!
