"Kermit Find a Rainbow Day" 2024 is a limited edition of 4,300 and sells for $19.99. So far It's only officially available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

BOOM! Studios to Re-Release Marvel's "Labyrinth" Mini-Series Comic!

BOOM! Studios is set to re-release Marvel's Labyrinth mini-series comic book this spring.

Jim Henson's Labyrinth Archive Edition #1 (of 3)

It's a nightmare come true for one teenage girl when goblins tear her baby brother from her grasp! Journey back to the iconic fantasy realm of the 1986 classic in this brand new edition of the original Marvel Comics adaptation.

Shout's Digital Labyrinth and Dark Crystal Release Comes with Bonus Features and New Trailers!

As part of their newly announced deal, Shout! Studios is releasing Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal to buy or rent in 4K digitally February 6.

To promote the releases Shout! Studios gave each film new trailers and synopsis for each film. If you get the digital copies from Apple's iTunes, you will also get a bunch of legacy extras!

Henson Hires John Tartaglia as Fraggle Rock Creative Supervisor!

According to Kidscreen and confirmed by Tartaglia himself, the Jim Henson Company has hired Fraggle Rock: Back to The Rock puppeteer and show creator John Tartaglia as creative supervisor of the entire Fraggle Rock brand.

Tartaglia will "map out and lead the charge on an expansion plan that includes consumer products and brand extensions such as podcasts, live shows and location-based experiences. He’ll also work with the studio to develop and produce new TV series and live shows." and sees potential in licensed story books and music albums.

The plan is to "create more seasons of reboot series Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock for Apple TV+, and perhaps even a feature film."


This a exciting  time for Fraggle fans. Back to the Rock returns for season two on Apple TV+ in March and in September, Henson lined up MGA Entertainment as the new show’s master toy partner in a multi-year deal, and Boss Fight Studios has new line of action figures coming out.

Coming Soon: Muppet Blacklight Doorables!

As we first saw at Toy Fair, Just Play's line of Muppet Blacklight Doorables are coming soon. 

Instead of a box with multiple doors, this line is individually packed.

  The figures are painted in blacklight colors of their previously released Doorables figures.

No word if Beaker is the chase figure like in the regular line. 

We also don't have any specific stores or links yet, but our sources tell that us they should be hitting store shelves soon.

Henson Doc Update and a Sam and Friends Follow-Up!

At the "Jim Henson Tele-visionary" screening at the Museum of the Moving Image this weekend, Henson Legacy President Craig Shemin revealed a few pieces of news.

Ron Howard Henson Doc Coming Soon!

The Ron Howard directed Jim Henson documentary is almost finished. The clips used are being reviewed for licensing approvals.

Disney will be premier the film at festivals once that's done with a plan to have it on Disney+ by the end of the year.

A Sam and Friends: The Story of Jim Henson’s First Television Show Follow-up Book!

Craig is working on a follow up to his Sam and Friends book that will include scripts from the show. 

Since many episodes from the series itself is lost and Disney/Henson have no plans to officially release what's is available from the show on any format, for now ,this is the only way to experience some of this early Henson shorts.

No release date was announced but we may se it released by the end of the year as well. 

More Screening and Events!

Craig also revealed that February's screening as the museum will be Valentine themed, and March's will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Muppets Most Wanted. 

There also discussions about expanding the Henson-related events at the museum as well, but we'll keep you posted as more details are announced.

Apple Sets Premiere Date For "Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” Season 2!

According to The Wrap, Apple announced when we can expect the second season of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.

“Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” Season 2, which debuts March 29, will see the return of Tony and Grammy Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Daveed Diggs (“Hamilton”). Guest stars will include Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose (“Schmigadoon!”), Emmy Award winner Brett Goldstein (“Ted Lasso”) and Emmy Award winner Catherine O’Hara (“Schitt’s Creek”).

The reboot’s second chapter sees the Fraggles, Doozers and Gorgs forced to confront their past and celebrate their interdependence, as they move through challenges together with hope, silliness and brand new songs. Jim Henson’s fun-loving and musical Fraggles — Gobo, Red, Boober, Mokey, Wembley and Uncle Travelling Matt — alongside new Fraggles and Doozers, embark on epic, hilarious adventures about the magic that happens when we celebrate and care for our interconnected world.

Pre-Order Baby Animal Funko Pop!

Earlier this week reliable sources surprised us with a first look a Funko's upcoming Muppets Mayhem Baby Animal POP figure. 

Thanks to Entertainment Earth's pre-order listing, we now know we should expect it to be released in March!

We also now have hi-res images to share as well. 

We reached out to our sources, but we haven't heard back if any other figures based on the show are planned.

Sadly, since there is only one image on the back of the package, it seems extremely likely that this will be the only figure in the line.

Mark Chilcott "Pinnochio" Print!

Artist Mark Chilcott has a new print base on Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.

Each is giclée is 16 x 24 inches and hand numbered. The regular version above has an edition size of 75, while the black and white version below has an edition size of 50.

Mark’s print for Pinocchio, inspired by the recent del Toro retelling, uses the play motif to showcase both the wonderful character and creature designs, while also playing off of the themes from Pinocchio’s journey. Mark’s detailed texture work is impressive, and we love how much life he infused into this piece.
