runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas 2025 Medals Unveiled!

The medals for runDisney's Virtual 12Ks of Christmas 2025 featuring The Muppets has been revealed. 

This December, bring some Muppet-style magic to your holidays with a cheerful blend of festive fun and playful chaos. Whether you're dashing through the jingle bells or wandering a winter pun-derland, these finisher medals do double duty—as both shiny ornaments for your holiday tree and proud additions to your medal rack.

runDisney first unveiled the medals last week with the following message:

Complete all three 4Ks (that’s nearly 7.5 miles of total holiday hilarity!) and unlock a bonus medal featuring a festive crew of iconic Muppets ready to deck the halls. One challenge, one medal, all the mayhem.

Kermit & Robin 4K v

Hi-ho, runners! Celebrate 2.49 miles of cozy joy and Muppet magic with this heartwarming medal featuring the frog we all love and his tiny, spirited sidekick.

Gonzo & Camilla 4K

Daring, dramatic, and delightfully weird, just like the race itself. This medal captures the chaos and charm of everyone’s favorite stunt-loving weirdo and his feathery flame.

Miss Piggy & Foo-Foo 4K

A race fit for the runway. Whether you’re strutting with flair or demanding to be carried like the queen you are, this glittery medal is très chic and très collectible. Pinky out, darling.

runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas Challenge

EPCOT Food and Wine 2025 Muppet Labs Collection!

Get a sneak peek at this year's EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival 2025 Muppet Labs Collection!

Muppet Labs will once again have a presence at this year's EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival and while we don't know if another photo up will constructed, or what type of gastronomy they have planned, we now have our first look at the exclusive Muppet Labs merch. 

This year guests will be able to find a Muppet Labs shirt with Bunsen and Beaker inside lab equipment like bunsen burners and beakers. 

There's also a tumbler with Bunsen and Beaker peaking out around a large beaker shaped like EPCOT's iconic Spaceship Earth. 

As well as a backpack with a similar design.  

These and more non-Muppet Labs items will be available at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival August 28 through November 22, 2025.

Hidden Merch Revealed in "Rock N' Roller Coaster" Concept Art?

Last week concept art was released for the retheming of Rock N' Rollercoaster Starring The Muppets, but were there also hidden easter eggs of the merch we can expect when the ride opens?

Above is the artists rendering of the Muppet takeover. The giant red guitar has a psychedelic paint job reminiscent of The Electric Mayhem's bus, but look closely at the guests taking in all it's splendor...

There's this guy wearing sleeveless a jean jacket that has a "The Muppets Electric Mayhem" logo on the back, similar to the one used for The Muppets Mayhem.

This woman is wearing a jacket with a wide open mouth, similar to the Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem Mouth logo.

There's also this person wearing a biker style studded vest with wings that could also easily have a Electric Mayhem logo on it. 

The que concept art also has a potentially hidden merchandise reveal as well. 

This girl recording the preshow on her phone is wearing a shirt with the "The Muppets Electric Mayhem" logo on the back, again similar to the one used for The Muppets Mayhem.

Are these the type of items we can expect when Rock N' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens next year? Sure.

Are these the exact items? Only time will tell, but it's exciting to see Disney actively thinking about more then just the look of the ride, but what Muppet fans will be wearing while experiencing the attraction as well.

Transformation in the Courtyard

The makeover of the roller coaster begins in the Courtyard of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. The legendary Muppet magnate and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse, has purchased G-Force Records and hired his reliable nephew Scooter to run the operation and completely redesign the Courtyard. A new psychedelic wrap gives the iconic red guitar landmark a groovy twist, inspired by a classic Muppet car paint job. The piano motif at the base of the guitar will feature a golden key as a homage to the golden tooth of a certain far-out bandleader.

Experience in the Queue

Once in the queue, VIP guests will discover the Muppets band Electric Mayhem recording new tracks in the studio. In the control room, a team of penguin sound engineers works hard, while band manager Scooter tries to convince the musicians to wrap up and head to their increasingly restless fans.

Adrenaline-Pumping Ride Through Hollywood

With help from Muppet Labs and a very fast limousine, guests will embark on a curvy, twisting, and scream-filled road trip through Hollywood to make it to the concert on time. The iconic scenery and landmarks of Tinseltown will get a Muppet twist, while a soundtrack of iconic rock hits, performed by Electric Mayhem, pumps up the adrenaline.

The Jim Henson Company Celebrates 70 Years with Exclusive Tours of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop in New York City for Two Days Only on October 9th and 10th.

Limited tickets for special behind-the-scenes tours will include a meet and greet with Brian Henson, puppetry demonstrations, rarely seen items from the Company’s archives, collectible souvenirs, and much more!

The Jim Henson Company is celebrating 70 years with a unique first-time-ever opportunity for fans to visit the exclusive Jim Henson’s Creature Shop in New York City for two days only on October 9th and 10th. A limited number of tickets will be available for tours of this iconic destination where characters from the Company’s legendary productions have been created. Tickets will include a meet and greet with producer/director/puppeteer Brian Henson (Labyrinth, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island) as well as a look at the Company’s archives, a puppetry demonstration, photo ops, and more. 

The 2 ½-hour tour experience will also include a special presentation with Barbara Miller, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs at the nearby Museum of the Moving Image, home to The Jim Henson Exhibition. And finally, attendees will also enjoy seeing unique puppets and props from The Jim Henson Company’s 70-year history and be able to take home commemorative collectibles to remember this exclusive once-in-a-lifetime visit.

New Mickey's of Glendale Exclusive D23 Muppets Studio Merch!

Disney is beginning to unveil the exclusives that will be available at Destination D23 which includes a selection of Muppet Studio items. 

According to the official Disney Parks Blog, in celebration of the  #TheMuppets70 campaign,  Mickey’s of Glendale will have "not one, but three exclusive Muppets-themed drops."

Much of the merchandise was designed by Producer for The Muppets Studio, Dani Iglesias.

Disney Parks Blog, asked Dani about the collection: 

“If you had told me as a kid that someday I’d be designing for The Muppets, I’d never have believed you,” Dani said. “My design process is all about keeping one foot in the past and one foot in the future — honoring the history of these beloved characters but also allowing the franchise to evolve.”

And when asked which item she’s most excited about?

“There’s a stunning sweatshirt for the 70th anniversary that we’ve been working on for almost a year,” she said. “It’s got over a dozen characters in the Muppet Show-style arches. It’s so soft and cozy — it’s definitely going in my closet!”
