Muppet Babies Put on "The Muppet Babies Show" For Series Finale!

Sadly, Disney Jr's Muppet Babies has it's final curtain call today, but the reboot is closing out it's 3 season run with a recreation of The Muppet Show with... The Muppet Babies Show"!

That's right, the second half of the final episode features the Muppet Babies putting on the show of their dreams.

Muppet Babies Introduces Rozzie!

When Muppet Babies returns for season three, a new Muppet will be introduced, Rozzie, Fozzie's newly adopted sister.

In the season premiere episode "Rizzo's Big Bruddah School," Fozzie learns his family is adopting a little sister and he's worried that he doesn't have what it takes to be a big brother.

Rozzie will be played by child actor Charlie Townsend (T.O.T.S.).

The new incarnation of Muppet Babies is Disney Channel's No. 1 series with kids 2-5.

Muppet Babies returns Monday, Jan. 4 on Disney Junior and on DisneyNOW.

Two More Muppet Babies Play Date Shorts Debut!

Two more Muppet Babies live action "Play Date" shorts are now online. 

First, Piggy teaches her friends Bailey Rae, Mia and Bennett how to look fabulous in a fashion show!

Then, Reagan joins Gonzo and his best friend Potato to play some fun games at the playground!

Muppet Babies Renewed for Third Season!

Disney Junior has ordered a third season of the rebooted Muppet Babies. 

So far details about the third season are primarily behind the scenes. According to Variety, Matt Danner, who previously served as co-producer/supervising director, will now serve as co-executive producer with Tom Warburton and supervising director for season 3. Danner also voices the role of Kermit. Chris Moreno is co-producer and art director, and Robyn Brown serves as story editor.

They also said that we should expect to see Scooter and Skeeter, Sweetums, the Swedish Chef, Vinny (Rizzo the Rat’s popstar brother), and Mr. Manny, who fills in for Miss Nanny for a day to appear during season 2 of show,which premieres August 9 on Disney Channel.

First, Fozzie and his friend Bruce teach Animal how to tell a knock-knock joke!

Then, Kermit and his friend Sammi are having fun stacking cups, but Animal keeps accidentally knocking them down!

Also, Kermit is directing a nursery rhyme play but his actors Fozzie, Jaxon and Zachary keep going off script!

Finally, Animal and his friend Esai want to play soccer but Animal keeps bringing the wrong equipment!

First, Kermit asks his friend Janice to make sure no one eats his cookie while he goes to wash his hands!

Then, Gonzo tests Summer and her friends Alijah & Aureelia to see if they've got what it takes perform in his big dance show!
