Hoppy Easter! It's that time of year of year again when we spotlight Muppet bunnies (and rabbits).

Sonia Manzano, Rosita, and Cookie Monster "Roll" to the White House!

The White House announced the full program of activities for the 2022 White House Easter Egg Roll including Sonia Manzano, and Sesame Street Live's Rosita and Cookie Monster.

The White House announced today the full program of activities for the 2022 White House Easter Egg Roll, a tradition dating back to 1878. A teacher for more than 30 years, First Lady Jill Biden created this year’s event theme, “EGGucation!,” with the South Lawn to be transformed into a school community, full of fun educational activities for children to enjoy.

In addition to the time-honored traditions of rolling and hunting eggs, this year’s White House Easter “EGGucation” Roll will also feature a School House Activity Area, Reading Nook, Talent Show, Field Trip to the Farm, Picture Day, a Physical “EGGucation” Zone, a Cafetorium and more.

Among the featured celebrities and walk around characters are PBS KIDS Series Creator (Alma’s Way), Children’s Book Author and former Sesame Street character, Sonia Manzano, 
Sesame Street Live will be performing, and Rosita and Cookie Monster will be walking around after. 

This year’s event will be broken into five sessions, beginning at 7:30 AM ET and end at 6:30 PM ET. Follow along with the White House Easter “EGGucation” Roll festivities with #EasterEggRoll and #EGGucation, and the official @White House, @POTUS, @FLOTUS social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Throwback Thursday: Home Made Muppet Babies Easter Eggs!

Last Sunday was Easter and while we don't typically show hand made Muppet items, we wanted to showcase these adorable Muppet Baby Easter eggs. 

As you can see they're based on the new brand new Disney Jr. series, 

and were made by 8 year old, fan of the blog, Conner.

Bean Bunny Easter Pin!

Ever wonder why Disney doesn't take advantage of using Bean Bunny in more merchandise around Easter time?

Well, it seems that this year the mouse finally woke up and released they had another bunny character!

Disney Parks recently released this limited edition Easter pin in their theme parks.

Most Wanted Easter Egg Kit!

For those that celebrate Easter, or for anyone that likes decorating eggs, Dudley's has a Muppets Most Wanted Easter Egg decorating kit.

The box contains 6 coloring tablets, 3 egg wrappers, 6 egg stands, 36 stickers, 1 egg dipper, and instructors. 

According to Dudley's website  these can be found at the following locations:

Unfortunately, what they don't  tell you is that this list referrers to all of Dudley's offerings 
and that a certain store/location may not have the Muppet kit. 

More unfortunately, I went to many of the retailers listed and not only did I NOT find the Muppet kit, but found that many didn't carry Dudley's, but their rival PAAS instead. 

Kermit Head Easter Basket

Craft store Hobby Lobby may be in the news for it's Supreme Court case, but a better headline would be that it has a plush Kermit head Easter basket!
