Kermit Ceramic Planter (UK)

Last but not least we have the Kermit planter. 

It looks OK, however I think it suffers from the same problem as the Animal planter. Too simplistic, and doesn't show the character well. 

Again the plant creates hair, which Kermit doesn't have. So we're left with a "frog with an afro" look similar to the Kermit Chia Pet. 

The plus side is, it doesn't make Kermit look like as much like a tomato as the Animal, though it could have been designed better.

Imagine if Kermit's eyes were above the plant hole and it had a drip catcher in the shape of his collar. That would have looked much better and really sold it as "Kermit".

Animal Ceramic Planter (UK)

We showed off the new Beaker planter last week and today we'll look at another planter in the line - Animal.  

It's a very simplistic take on the character and doesn't really convey the character. Maybe some stray hairs sticking over his mouth and over the top edge would have helped. Without that he looks too round and contained and we all know Animal is neither.

It actually get's worse when a plant is added to create his "hair." I don't know about you, but the photo on the package above makes him look like a tomato!
