Good Morning America broke the news this morning that The Muppet Show 50th Anniversary special will air simultaneously on Disney+ and ABC Feb 4th!
The Muppet Show returns Feb. 4 for a triumphant special event on Disney+ and ABC.
It's The Muppet Show! Kermit, Miss Piggy and the beloved Muppet gang are back with a brand-new special event. Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos is bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter!

AppleTV released the trailer for their upcoming Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock special, "The First Snow of Fraggle Rock" !

The First Snow of Fraggle Rock premieres Friday, December 5 on Apple TV.
The first trailer for Jim Henson: Idea Man, was released this morning and it gives us an "idea" of what to expect from the upcoming documentary.

Now that's you've watched it (over and over again like us) here's a few things we we looking forward to in the film.
ANIMATION!
Not only was Jim Henson a puppeteer, but he was also interested in animation. From a sketch of Big Bird that spouts feathers, to sketches of Kermit and the Sam and Friends gang being drawn before our eyes, to an invisible force sewing / painting the original Kermit from Jim's grandmothers old coat, it looks like we're going to see his "Ideas" literally come to life.
Rare early Footage!
We're going to see rare clips of early Henson work such as the Wilkins and Wonkin's commercials and Sam and Friends.
Behind The Scenes Footage!
We're going to see rare glimpses behind the scenes at how our favorite characters are brought to life.
Merch and More!
We're going to get a peak of the world of Jim Henson's creations outside of their productions, and see how they grew into a worldwide phenomenon with toys, and being features in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade..

Last week we got our first look at footage from the upcoming Electric Mayhem series, Muppets Mayhem and today Disney releases an extended trailer.

Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock" is executive produced by The Jim Henson Company's Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford, and longtime Henson collaborator John Tartaglia. Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson, who serve as showrunners, also executive produce as well as New Regency's Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer. Co-executive producers are Dave Goelz and Karen Prell, and executive music producer is Harvey Mason Jr. The series is produced by Ritamarie Peruggi.
In addition to “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock,” Apple’s growing partnership with The Jim Henson Company includes “Harriet The Spy,” the first animated adaptation of the iconic children’s novel premiering this Friday, November 19; the popular “Fraggle Rock: Rock On!” shorts; the 88 episodes of the original “Fraggle Rock” series and recently added bonus specials, “Down at Fraggle Rock,” “Doozer Music” and “Fraggle Songs,” all of which are now available to stream on Apple TV+.
First thought - this looks really good, but who is that new purple Fraggle and where is Mokey?
Ohhhh that isMokey! eeek. Looks like they rebuilt her as an arm rod puppet instead of a live hand, made her all a one tone deeper purple, changed her outfit, her hair, and even her eye placement is different. It's a shame, because all that has made her almost unrecognizable.
Fraggle Rock: Rock On
It looks like the original Mokey was used for the Rock On shorts - but maybe it was failing and need a facelift? What make it baffling is the rest of the Fraggles look BETTER then they did for Rock On. Poor Mokey. I hope her personality comes though all her exterior changes.
We'll find out when Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock premieres January 21 on Apple TV+.
