The (almost) Full Muppet SDCC panel!

As you know The Muppets had their first ever Comic Con panel to promote their new ABC show "the muppets."

The good folks MouseInfo.com recorded the entire of the panel and uploaded it to youtube (minus the 10 minute test footage used to sell the show to ABC.)

Despite the producers decree that the SDCC audience would be the only audience to see the test footage, hopefully they can make a deal and include it on the eventual Bluray release, so the rest of us can see the amazing-ness as well!

RIP Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata

Nintendo's fourth CEO, Satoru Iwata, who was credited as creating the Nintendo DS and Wii systems, passed away Saturday after suffering from a tumor in his bile duct at the age
of 55.

The last time Iwata made a major public appearance was only a few weeks ago when he teamed up with T
he Jim Henson Company to deliver a presentation at E3. The video features puppet versions of himself along with COO Reggie Fils-Aime and General Manager Shigeru Miyamoto.

Turkey Hollow's Monsters, Network, Date and Time Revealed!

We now have our first look at Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow as well as when and where the TV movie will premiere!

Entertainment Weekly snagged an exclusive photo of
Turkey Hollow's musical monsters
along with star Mary Steenburgen.

The movie, based on a story developed in 1968 by Jim Henson and Jerry Juhl, was recently discovered in the Henson archives. The unproduced screenplay
was first brought to life last year via a graphic novel published by Archaia.

Along with Steenburgen, Turkey Hollow stars Jay Harrington and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges.
The recently wrapped production was directed by Kirk Thatcher.

The plot is as follows:
The movie follows the story of the Emmerson family, recently divorced father Ron (Harrington) and his kids Tim (Graham Verchere) and Annie (Genevieve Buechner), as they head to the quaint town of Turkey Hollow to spend a rustic Thanksgiving at the farm of Ron’s eccentric Aunt Cly (Steenburgen). Surprised by the lack of internet and technology in Turkey Hollow, Tim and Annie soon find themselves swept up in tracking the “Howling Hoodoo,” an elusive monster that, up until now, Turkey Hollow residents have long dismissed as mere legend. The Thanksgiving holiday threatens to take a bleak turn when a scheming neighbor frames Aunt Cly for turkey theft, but the fractured family teams up with some surprising new friends to save the day. Ludacris appears as an on-screen narrator in the film.
Turkey Hollow is an unproduced gem from our Company’s archives,” said Jim Henson Company CEO Lisa Henson. “I have fond memories from my childhood of my father planning and developing this production. He was delighted by the idea of magical creatures living in the woods and was excited to portray them in a more realistic way than his other well-known puppet characters.
Lisa, who is executive producing, was first introduced to these monsters in the ’60s when her dad enlisted her and her sister’s help for a photo session involving the puppets. By the time she rediscovered them as an adult, however, they were in poor condition and had to be remade. The new ones are still in the same “spirit of the original characters,” Lisa tells EW, but are a bit more high-tech: The updated versions have blinking eyes and animatronic components.
Produced by The Jim Henson Company, Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow is Executive Produced by Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford (The Jim Henson Company’s EVP of Children’s Entertainment), as well as Michael Taylor of Multiple Media Entertainment. Kirk Thatcher (It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie ) is directing. Christopher Baldi and Tim Burns wrote the script based on a story by Jim Henson, Jerry Juhl and Kirk Thatcher. The Burbank, CA location of Jim Henson’s Creature shop designed and fabricated the creatures of Jim Henson's Turkey Hollow.

Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow will make it's long awaited premiere on Lifetime on Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
