The Muppets Noir #1 Sneak Peek!

The Muppets are making their comic book return next month as Dynamite Entertainment launches The Muppets Noir, a brand-new series from acclaimed Muppets comic creator Roger Langridge. 

We did some investigating and uncovered an early sneak peek at the first issue. The case files are open—check the first few pages as well as the official description. 

IT WAS A DARK AND FROGGY EVENING! It’s time to cue the music; it’s time to dim the lights! It’s time to get things started as the Muppets return tonight! The show is about to begin at the famous Muppet Theatre, and the regular pre-curtain chaos has the troupe’s stalwart MC, Kermit the Frog, coming apart at the seams.

In an attempt to de-stress, he settles down to read a few pages of a favourite old detective novel only to get kayoed by an errant brick to the bean, leaving him laid out backstage as his co-stars try to coax him back to consciousness. But unbeknownst to them, Kermit has taken up the hard-boiled mantle of his fictional hero to walk the darkened streets of Dreamland, righting wrongs and cracking cases under the concealing cover of night.

Flip Minnow, P.I., has no time for song and dance‚ not if he's going to solve the baffling mystery of the Snoozing Sleuth!

Legendary cartooning talent and Muppets comics veteran ROGER LANGRIDGE bellies up to the drawing table once more for an all-new tale of crime and pun-ishment with The Muppets Noir #1 featuring clue-filled cover art from both the author and guest artist DECLAN SHALVEY, as well as an appropriately enigmatic DELUXE MYSTERY BLIND BAG!

The case breaks wide open on February 18th, 2026, when The Muppets Noir #1 hits your local comic shop.

Adult Muppet Coloring Book Coming in 2017!

Thanks to Skitch Kingdom we now know that there's an adult Muppet coloring book is coming next May from "Art of Coloring"!

The book is scheduled to be released On May 2, 2017. 

As you can see the cover art is not final, but we'll be sure to update you as new info is released.

River Horse Labyrinth Game - First Peek Goblin!

Over the weekend news broke the The Jim Henson Company has  a Labyrinth "reboot" in the works.

Scriptwriter Nicole Perlman later clarified via twitter that it won't be a reboot, and that "Labyrinth is my favorite film from childhood, so I share your concerns that any continuation of the world be handled with love and respect."

Speaking of new goings on in the word of Labyrinth, River Horse is hard at work on their upcoming game based on the film. 

They've been great about showing off the progress of the figures for the game and today we present their first Goblin:

We also learned that these figures will be available separately from the game itself.

"Along with the board game we will be releasing some collectible figurines sculpted by Johnny, which can of course be used in the game.

These figurines will be well known characters from the Labyrinth. I won't spoil the surprise by telling you which, but here is a peek at one of them.

River Horse Labyrinth Game - First Peek at Ludo!

You may recall River Horse is developing a Labyrinth game. Previously they revealed a first look at their Hoggle figure. 

Now we have a first look at the making of their Ludo figure!

These are the first pics of the 3-up Ludo for our upcoming Labyrinth board game.
Ludo has been sculpted by Johnny Frazer-Allen, who we are glad to say will be working on all the figures for the game.
As for the game itself, the base game is written and will soon be sent out to an elite team of playtesters for feedback.  Alessio has already played the game at his local gaming club and it went down really well, even with someone who hadn't seen the film (but will now be ordering the dvd!).

Lets take a minute to remember the man who brought all this to life, Jim Henson, (born on Sept 24th 1936) by celebrating the 60th anniversary of the company and worlds he created.

River Horse is developing a Labyrinth game and revealed the first look at the Hoggle figure.

We thought that you'd like to know how we are doing with the Labyrinth game, well,the first draft of the mechanics is written and we are into the playtest stage. We are going through the archives and pictures from the nice chaps at Henson, we have also been lucky enough to land a top notch sculptor to help bring the figures to life:  Mr Johnny Fraiser. As you can see by the pictures, his sculpt of Hoggle is spot on!  Johnny is a massive fan of the Labyrinth and we think you can see just how much when you look at some of his other projects, The Gloaming, The Wandering Woods, and from some of the games he is working on here.

Sneak Peek at Hallmark's 2016 Muppet Ornament!

The next ornament in Hallmark's Muppet line was revealed at San Diego Comic Con!

Yep, instead of a character next year we get the Electric Mayhem bus! Can you picture that on your tree in 2016!!

Funko's Sesame Street Pop! Sneak Peek!

A shot of Funko's Sesame Pop! figures has leaked out before Toy Fair this weekend. 

Super Grover has been seen before, as he was a released as a NY Comic Con exclusive in October:

However, for the first time, check out the rest of the line!

Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Oscar & Slimy, Grover, Elmo, The Count, and 6" versions of Snuffy and Big Bird!

I'm looking forward to seeing the prototypes in person this weekend.
