Disney Parks' The Great Gonzo "It’s Showtime Poster" Pin!

Disney Parks has a new addition to their "It’s Showtime Posters" pin series featuring The Great Gonzo.

The pin is a limited edition of 3,000 and as of now, it's only available in the parks and not online.

Gonzo to Present at The Game Awards!

The Muppets have a long history of presenting at The Game Awards and his year Gonzo the Great will be presenting an award.

Host and creator of The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, made the announcement that Gonzo will be the latest Muppet to participate at the yearly event. 

It was not disclosed which of the 31 awards Gonzo will present.

The Game Awards will live stream on Thursday, December 7 at 7:30 PM ET.

Kidrobot Gonzo Window Clinger & Plush!

Gonzo is joining Kermit and Fozzie in Kidrobot's line of plush and window clingers.

Gonzo the Great: A Career Retrospective!

Disney+ honored Gonzo's illustrious Hollywood journey with "Gonzo the Great: A Career Retrospective" featuring the daredevil himself reminiscing about his film and TV career.

"Dive inside the mind of the one and only Gonzo the Great as we reflect on his decades-long career. Finding fame on The Muppet Show in 1976, Gonzo catapulted (sometimes quite literally) into icon status, starring in classics like The Muppet Christmas Carol (which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!), and new Disney+ Originals, including #MuppetsHauntedMansion and #MuppetsNow. From motorcycles to tapioca, hear about his greatest moments and achievements."

    

Conveniently they don't mention any of the titles NOT owned by Disney like The Muppets take Manhattan and the VERY Gonzo centric Muppets From Space, but it's still great to see Disney put an effort into showcasing Gonzo and the Muppets accomplishments.

D23 Fall Issue Muppet Mentions!

The fall issue of Disney Twenty-Thee, Disney's official fan magazine just came out, and while The Muppets aren't featured, they are mentioned a few times. 

Disney fan and Muppets Haunted Mansion guest Yvette Nicole Brown was asked who was her favorite Muppet to work.

Luckily her favorite Muppet and her favorite to work with are one an the same.. Gonzo!

There were also some subtle Muppet mentions and allusions including using "It's Not Easy Being Green" as the headline for an article about She-Hulk: Attorney at Law:

The Muppets (2015) guests Keegan-Michael Key was mentioned as part of the cast of the Disney's upcoming live action remake of Pinocchio. See if you can spot the typo,

Unfortunately, that was all the Muppet stuff in this issue of Disney Twenty -three, but I'm sure we'll be seeing more with The Muppet Christmas Carol's 30th anniversary and Muppets Mayhem on the horizon. 

Gonzo Venture Into Cures!

Gonzo the Great will be adding his star power tonight for a celebrity filled telethon to raise awareness and find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Gonzo tweeted the following video to promote his appearance:

New Limited Edition Gonzo Daredevil Pin!

Disney Parks unveiled a new Muppet featuring "Daredevil" Gonzo as their Trading Cards Series Pin-of-the-Month. 

Stunt Muppet The Great Gonzo blasts from a cannon onto this limited edition Daredevil pin for your Disney Trading Card collection. Not sure what he is, but it's not a ''chicken.''

The Limited Edition pin was created especially for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort and has an edition size of 4,000. 

The best part is even though it's a park exclusive, you don't have to go o the parks to get it!

Goldberg's Go Gonzo!

The Goldberg's went Gonzo last week, well for us Muppet fans anyway. 

If you caught last week's episode "Game Night," you may have noticed Adam wearing this vintage inspired Gonzo shirt.

While not vintage it was nice to see The Muppets, especially everyone's favorite weirdo Gonzo, getting a shout out on the show.

A new episode of The Goldberg's airs tomorrow night on ABC. Keep your eyes peeled as you never know when an Muppet homage will appear. 

Muppet Babies Super Hero Plush!

Never fear, more Muppet Babies plush are here! 

A new set of Muppet Babies plush has been released featuring the gang as their superhero alter egos from the episode "Super Fabulous vs. Captain Icecube"

The set includes Summer as Captain Icecube, Piggy as Super Fabulous, Gonzo as Dr. Meanzo, and Kermit.

I'm sure you've all heard too much info about the actual candidates, but what about the other weirdos running?

Like Big Bird in 2012, Miss Piggy was brought up during this year's Presidential debates.
In 1980, she made her candidacy official in a Life Magazine cover story!

Her supporters could show their support with the button above and with this one from Hallmark announcing she was running for First Lady...President!

If the two main candidates don't do it for you, you can always vote green.
Kermit green that is. Who also announced his candidacy via a Hallmark button in 1980.

There's also a strange candidate on the ballot with a big nose. Gonzo of course!

Just last week we got a sneak peak at a few more of the upcoming Muppet Tsum Tsums and now we have our first look at Gonzo!

We'll keep looking to see if any new Muppet Tsum Tsum images pop up!

Never Made Muppets - Gonzo and Animal Ty plush!

We're back today with another installment in our series of "Never Made Muppets."

At the 2013 D23 convention, Disney displayed an Animal and Gonzo plush. 

These were supposedly to be released by Ty as part of their Beanie Buddies line after Kermit.

However, since being initially shown the representatives at Ty I spoke with not only did not have a time frame for a release, but stated they didn't even these plush existed at all! We're still hoping these will be released at some point, but it's not looking good.

2014 Hallmark Muppet Ornament: Gonzo - Now Available!

As we first reported in April, the Muppet that would be featured as this year's Hallmark Muppet ornament is Gonzo.

Gonzo UK Tshirts

The countdown to Memorial Day Weekend, the unofficial start of summer is on!  While this week may seem painfully slow at times, we hope to give you a quick fix of many summer items to be on the lookout for.

Hallmark 2014 Ornament - Gonzo First Look!

Hallmark has unveiled the first gimps at their 2014 Muppet ornament: Gonzo!

I spoke to the head designer for Hallmark at NY Comic -Con back in October who told me our favorite daredevil "might" be the focus of their 2014 ornament.

At the time, Hallmark unveiled many of their upcoming 2014 ornaments, but they were still working on finalizing the sculpt for Gonzo and asked me to keep the info on the down low until the official announcement.

Most Wanted Appearances March 23rd!

Gonzo was the Grand Marshal at Sunday's NASCAR SprintCup Auto Club 400 outside Los Angels. Check out him getting things "Start"ed in the video below.

Most Wanted Walgreens Plush!

If you find yourself at the corner of not enough Muppet plush, and need a Constantine in a karate gi. Then Walgreen's has just the thing with these Muppets Most Wanted mini plush by Just Play.

It seems Disney is going eco friendly with some of their merch for Muppets Most Wanted. This Gonzo plush is the basically the same as the previous one, but with better eye placement and nose/mouth coloring.
