Our latest series of Geeki Tikis® focuses on a wide range of classic and beloved characters from the Wonderful World of Disney! These creative, colorful drinkware products combine some of Jim Henson’s most-popular characters with our signature tiki styling. The Geeki Tikis® from The Muppets series include our tiki-fied takes on Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and Animal.

 

 Animal

The Animal Geeki Tikis® mug stands 6.5in tall x 4in wide, features an orangish-red glaze with white accents and a contrasting black interior. Animal is depicted with his bongo, an electrifying expression, his iconic chains and of-course holding his drumsticks ever-so-tightly in-hand. Animal holds 11oz. and is sure to be the hit at your next PART-AY!!!

Miss Piggy:

The Miss Piggy Geeki Tikis® mug stands 7.5” tall x 4.25in wide, features a light-yellow glaze with white accents throughout and a contrasting purple interior. Miss Piggy is decked out in her best aloha-garb and rocking a number of accessories which include a hibiscus flower, heart-shaped sunglasses, pearl necklace and tiki drink in-hand. Miss Piggy holds 16oz.

Kermit:

The Kermit Geeki Tikis® mug stands 7.75in tall x 4in wide, features a not-so-easy-being-green glaze with white accents and a contrasting black interior. Kermit the Frog is depicted sitting on a palm tree stump and strumming his ukulele (this being a Geeki Tikis® mug, we had to swap out his banjo don’t you know!). Kermit holds 16oz.

Gonzo:

The Gonzo Geeki Tikis® mug stands 7.25in tall x 3.5in wide, features a boisterous blue glaze with white detailing and a contrasting white interior. Gonzo is luau-ready, depicted wearing an aloha shirt with a pineapple print, lei and holding a pineapple tiki drink with a very impressive array of garnishes… Camilla sold separately. Gonzo holds 12oz.

Fozzie Bear:

The Fozzie Bear Geeki Tikis® mug stands a towering 8in tall x 4.75in wide, features an orangish-brown glaze with white detailing and a reddish-pink interior. Fozzie is donning a straw beachcomber hat, sunglasses and aloha shirt with smiley-face pattern. Vacation ready with his suitcase and coconut drink in-hand. The details of this mug are fantastic, even down to the banana dolphin… Waka Waka! (sic) Fozzie Bear holds 20oz.

New Muppet Drinkware Coming From Vandor!

Drinkware company Vandor has two new Muppet items on the way. 

A Kermit head ceramic mug, and a Kermit, Animal, and Miss Piggy water bottle. No dates, pre-order links, or other retail listings are up yet, but our guess is they'll be available

sometime in the fall.

Coming Soon: River Horse's Labyrinth - The Adventure Game!

River Horse is expanding their catalog of Labyrinth games with a role playing game.

Jim Henson’s Labyrinth - The Adventure Game contains everything you need to enter the magical world of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. This beautiful collectors item contains a full epic adventure which can be played both by expert roleplayers using their favourite RPG rules system, and by fans of the Labyrinth who are not roleplayers, using the streamlined rules system included in the book!

No date has been announced yet, but we'll keep you posted as to when to expect Jim Henson’s Labyrinth - The Adventure Game will be released. 

Coming Soon: Labyrinth: Under The Spell

While Labyrinth: Coronation is a little more then half way through it's run, Boom! and imprint Archaia announced today a new Labyrinrth anthology series Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Under The Spell.

The first issue features writer S.M. Vidaurri (Steven Universe: Harmony) artist Sarah Webb (Kochab) and the talents of Sina Grace (Iceman), Boya Sun (5 Worlds), and Michael Dialynas (The Woods).

Coming Soon: Jim Henson Funko Pop!

Our friends at The Muppet Collection Page recently discovered that Jim Henson will among the next "Icons" to get the Funko Pop! treatment.

The info below looks to have the wrong date (2018), but it suggests we might see our favorite right hand man POP! towards the end of January!

We'll keep you posted as more info becomes available. 

Sesame Street Coming to SeaWorld Orlando!

SeaWorld Orlando is building a new Sesame Street-themed area!

Coming in 2019, Sesame Street land will replace Shamu’s Happy Harbor play area.

The land will a have a daily parade that features Elmo, Big Bird and an assortment of other characters as well as wet and dry play areas, and recreated locations from the show, such as Mr. Hooper’s store.

The area will be designed to make guests feel like they are walking down Sesame Street as it exists on the show today, rather then the "classic" street at SeaWorld Entertainment's Sesame Place.

"We are excited to transport our guests into the colorful and creative world of Sesame Street through immersive theming, character interactions and interactive play," said SeaWorld Orlando president Jim Dean in a news release.

The expected completion is spring 2019.

Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: A Discovery Adventure Coming Soon!

A new oversized hardcover book about the land of Thra is coming next year to a book store near you. 

Readers of Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: A Discovery Adventure will join Jen and Kira on a grand adventure through the world of Thra in their journey to restore the Dark Crystal. 

According to Nerdist, the book will offer fans an "immersive, interactive experience."

In this new book, you can help Jen and Kira find the missing shard, evade Skeksis, and heal their land in this stunning volume, gorgeously illustrated by artist Ann Marcellino. In a statement, Marcellino said, “I hope readers will enjoy looking through the details of the illustrations and maybe even come out of it with a new appreciation for the Dark Crystal world.”

Each page of of this new book will contain extremely detailed artwork with hidden treasures waiting to be found as readers rediscover the magic of the film, with lush spreads that present Jim Henson and Brian Froud’s fantastical vision of Thra and the wonderful creatures that live there. The book also features bonus challenges that take viewers deeper into the enchanting landscapes, Crystal Castle, and Aughra’s Observatory.

Splash and Bubbles - The Ride!

According to theme park attraction magazine Blooloop, a new ride based on Splash and Bubbles will soon be making it's way to a theme park (or parks) near (or far) from you!

Dark ride specialist Sally Corporation and Herschend Enterprises, the largest family-owned attractions corporation in the US are to develop a SPLASH AND BUBBLES family dark ride.

The companies plan to bring the popular children’s show to life in a new themed attraction. 

The hit animated show Splash and Bubbles is co-produced by The Jim Henson Company and Herschend Studios. The latter is Herschend Enterprises’ media arm. The Jim Henson Company is a world leader and innovator in puppetry, animatronics and digital animation.

The show encourages children to discover more about marine biology. They do this through the adventures of Splash (a yellowback fusilier fish) and his best friend Bubbles, (a Mandarin dragonet). 

Sally Corp to create family dark rideThe character driven comedy is shown every day on PBS stations across the US. Splash and Bubbles ranks among the top five PBS KIDS series for children ages 2-8 every month. It is also available worldwide on Netflix and via broadcast in international territories.

The deal between Herschend and Sally is the first time the two companies have partnered on a ride like this. Sally Corp recently revealed the new attraction concept at the IAAPA Attractions Expo. This was held in Orlando and is the largest such convention in the theme park business. This year it had over 37,000 attendees. In addition to providing Sally Corp the development rights, Herschend has also developed a line of custom branded merchandise This includes plush and clothing.

Sally Corp. which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, will be creative producer of the family dark ride. It will manage and driving the overall development, marketing and distribution of the ride. Andrew Wexler is Herschend’s CEO. He says, “For more than half a century, Herschend has created family-centric attractions and experiences which engage audiences in innovative ways. Now, coupling with Sally Corporation’s vast expertise developing interactive, compelling dark rides, we are well-equipped to give families a new way to experience this beloved series and its wonderful characters in a variety of venues including theme parks, aquariums and other entertainment settings”.

We are very excited about the opportunity”.Splash and Bubbles is a production of The Jim Henson Company and Herschend Studios. It was created by John Tartaglia. Executive producers are Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford of The Jim Henson Company and Julie Phillips and Merrill Puckett Miller of Herschend Enterprises with Tartaglia, Michael Shawn Lewis and Jill Shinderman. The Jim Henson Company also oversees all distribution and merchandising for the property. Herschend Enterprises administers all location-based themed entertainment rights. This includes live-shows.

No further details about when and where the ride will open but we'll keep you posted!

Fraggle Rock Omnibus Coming Soon!

Archaia will be collecting their anthology Fraggle comics in a new hard cover Omnibus.

Sadly though, the collection will not include the “Journey to the Everspring” miniseries.

It won't be out until March, but you can pre-order it now from Amazon for $12.68  and save $7 off the cover price.

The Fraggle Rock Omnibus will collect all of the anthology Fraggle comics (so, no classic Fraggle comics from the ’80s or the “Journey to the Everspring” miniseries). It will only cost $19.99, and it will be in stores next March, 2018.

Cookie Monster: "Joy of Cookies" Coming Soon!

It looks like Cookie Monster will have his hands full with something other then cookies...a keyboard!

EW broke the news that Cookies Monster is working on an advice book titled "The Joy of Cookies."

According to EW, "the book will parody famous mantras (“Make Cookies, Not War”) and be full of puns."

It looks like the book will even come pre-bitten by Cookie Monster himself!
