HBO aired The Tale of The Bunny Picnic for the first time on this day in 1986. The special introduced us to a whole new wold of Muppet bunnies, most notably Bean, who would go on to be featured n many productions and movies through the 80's and 90's.
Applause released a set of puppets to coincide with the special. The set featured many of Bean's family including his dad, sister, and his great-great-great-great Grandmother Bunny.
