Muppets Mayhem Easter Eggs: Track 8!

The Muppets Mayhem is filled with many hidden and not so hidden Easter eggs for fans to discover. 

There are so many in fact that we're going track by track (episode by episode) to help you spot them.

Track 8: “Virtual Insanity”

The title is a reference to Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity."


The van pass Doc Hopper's Frogs Legs.

When Moog chimes in, Penny says "Who is this smart guy, and why is he talking to me? This is a reference to Taj Mawry's 1997 Disney Channel sitcom Smart Guy.

Floyd mentions a previous beef with another band from River Bottom. Dr. Teeth adds that they were a nightmare. This is a nice nod to the River Bottom Nightmare Band from Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas

The names of the town's business are:


Here Comes The Sundries - a reference to The Beatles "Here Comes The Sun."

F. Murray Abraham Playhouse - a reference to actor F. Murray Abraham who appeared in the music biopic Amadeus and Muppets From Space.

I'm sure the Hardware store has a cool name, but I can't quite make it out. Any help would appreciated. 

Master P Nuts stand. A reference to Musician Master P.

Jack Mcbrayer' Luther McMonster says "Mayhem, Come out to Play!" this is a line from the film "The Warriors."

Announcer the Minecraft announcement lists "Miners, creepers, zombies, and Steve."

The announcer is Jon Baily form Honest Movie Trailers.

The list of fans in Minecraft are the "BTS Army, Rihanna’s Navy, and the Natalie Merchant- Marines"

Cameos:

Rachel Bloom as Samantha Swiftie - Leader of the Taylor Swift fan club.


Nicole Byer as Beatrice of the Behive - Leader of the Beyonce fan club.


Riki Lindhome as Justine the Belieber - Leader of the Justin Belieber fan club.


Jack Mcbrayer as Luther McMonster - Leader of the Lady Gaga fan club.


Joe Lo Truglio as Clark the Mo-Cap Maestro.
