Possible Details Emerge On New Muppet Series!

We've long heard rumors that The Muppets were getting a new series for Disney's upcoming streaming service, now called Disney +.

Today, SplashReport is reporting the possible theme the show may take.

According to their sources, Frozen's Josh Gad and the creative duo behind Once Upon A Time, Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz, are working on a show tentatively titled "
Muppets Live Another Day."

The series would take place in the 80's right after the events of The Muppets Take Manhattan and would find the Muppet gang disbanded, but brought back together after Rowlf mysteriously disappears.

There's a lot to unpack in that short description.

Why set it in the 80's after The Muppets Take Manhattan

Would they treat The Muppets Take Manhattan as a movie The Muppets just completed, or would the events be in-universe??

If, it's in-universe, why would the gang disband if they JUST got back together???

Would this make Kermit and Piggy married????

Are more then one Muppet series being looked at?????

Why can't they just brig back The Muppet Show??????

Again, this all just a rumor so far, so take this all with a grain of salt, but it does raise quite a bit of questions.

The series won't premiere until 2020, so there is still a lot of time for more details to emerge.

Let the fan theories begin!
