Possible "Labyrinth" TV Series in the Works!

Giantfreakinrobot.com is reporting that a TV series set in the world of Labyrinth is being developed.

According to their "trusted and proven" sources, the Henson Company is developing a TV series based on the classic 1986 film.

Their sources also made sure to point out that the previously announced big screen sequel is also still on the way as well.

I'd consider this a rumor until more info is released from official channels, but it would very to cool to see the world of Labyrinth expanded.

We'll keep you posted if any new info is released.

Rumor: New Muppet Series to Focus on The Electric Mayhem!

A rumor was posted by Giant Freakin Robot last night whose "trusted an proven" source says a new Muppet series is in the works at Disney+ possibly featuring Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.

Their source describes the show as a focus on the music industry, and "how the landscape has changed" since the characters were first introduced. The show will hone in on a band possibly
Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, who have touring, but now it’s time for them to record their first studio album. In the current music environment, this looks like it is going to be easier said than done.

The non-Muppet cast is also said to include two sisters "at different stages of their life regarding fame and their overall careers." Hannah, a social media star / influencer who has created an online empire through successful make-up videos. She "has a base of rabid followers flocking to her online, making her one of the modern-day celebrities who got there through less-than-conventional means."

Along with Hannah will be her older sister Nora. At one time, an "up-and-coming music executive who had to put her plans on hold to raise Nora." However, now that her sister has become a viral sensation, and is all grown up, Nora is setting her sights back on the music industry. It looks like she will be the one managing and helping the group get into the studio and make their first album.

Lyle a tech entrepreneur, will be a recurring character. He was once a geek, but is now "anything but" and has his eyes on getting back together with his ex-girlfriend Nora.

Again, this is all rumor and even if this is currently the plan for the show, things may change as it's gets further into development.

Personally, I think think this is great idea and it's beyond time
the Electric Mayhem not only got the spotlight but actually make an album!

Rumor: Emmet Otter Merch Coming Soon!

In addition to the stage version of Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas making its return this winter, our sources are telling us to be on the lookout for Emmett Otter merchandise this winter as well.

We hear that licensed art posters and even action figures may be on the horizon for fans of the beloved special.

Besides copies of the special on various media over the years, and the soundtrack released last year, this would mark be the first time widely released merchandise based on the special will be released.

If our sources are accurate we all better start doing some odd jobs now or else we may have to put a hole in our washtubs to pay for everything.

Possible Details Emerge On New Muppet Series!

We've long heard rumors that The Muppets were getting a new series for Disney's upcoming streaming service, now called Disney +.

Today, SplashReport is reporting the possible theme the show may take.

According to their sources, Frozen's Josh Gad and the creative duo behind Once Upon A Time, Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz, are working on a show tentatively titled "
Muppets Live Another Day."

The series would take place in the 80's right after the events of The Muppets Take Manhattan and would find the Muppet gang disbanded, but brought back together after Rowlf mysteriously disappears.

There's a lot to unpack in that short description.

Why set it in the 80's after The Muppets Take Manhattan

Would they treat The Muppets Take Manhattan as a movie The Muppets just completed, or would the events be in-universe??

If, it's in-universe, why would the gang disband if they JUST got back together???

Would this make Kermit and Piggy married????

Are more then one Muppet series being looked at?????

Why can't they just brig back The Muppet Show??????

Again, this all just a rumor so far, so take this all with a grain of salt, but it does raise quite a bit of questions.

The series won't premiere until 2020, so there is still a lot of time for more details to emerge.

Let the fan theories begin!
