Oh come all ye Muppet faithful, to the little town of Lehighton, Pa as once again The Muppets Take Mahoning!
On Saturday, August 1st, let your bells jingle at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater. In association with THE BARRETTA BROTHERS VODCAST PODCAST, we proudly present MUPPETS TAKE MAHONING 4! It’s a special “Christmas In July-ish” celebration of fleece, foam and fandom with Jim Henson and The Muppets on 35mm!
Join us for themed Muppet vendors (including us), costume contests, a Muppet sing-along at intermission, and a variety show that puts YOU in the spotlight before sundown (sign-ups coming soon)!
The sun may set on the lot, but it never sets on the fun, as our projectors fire up to present the marvelously merry, the magnificently memorable, THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL (1992), our fine felty friends’ take on the Dickens holiday classic, with Michael Caine as Scrooge, directed by Brian Henson, and featuring songs written by Paul Williams!
We follow that up with a super-secret second feature, holiday-themed and filled with fuzzy friends, presented digitally.
So break out your puppet pals, practice your public performance pieces, and get ready to get warm and fuzzy with Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo and the gang, when we celebrate Christmas in July…ish with the Muppets and the Barretta Brothers Vodcast Podcast!
