Chris Stulz
Class of 2026

A lot of fans collect Muppet merchandise, but how many can call their collections museums? Chris Stulz has been an active member of the Muppet fan-collecting scene for over thirty years, and in that time, he’s amassed one of the largest collections of Muppet merchandise there is. In 2012, Chris started Muppet Stuff, a blog dedicated to reporting on the latest Muppet merch. Whether it’s a water bottle with Big Bird plastered on it or an action figure of Earl Sinclair, Muppet Stuff will let you know when and where to get it! Muppet Stuff also has an active YouTube page with vlogs on all sorts of Muppet events, unboxings, and merch hunts. On top of all that, Chris is also a community event organizer, helping organize The Muppets Take Mahoning Drive-In events as well as The Swa(m)p Meet at the Jim Henson birthday events at the Museum of the Moving Image. Overall, Chris has just been extremely active in this community for decades, subscribing to Muppet Zine, interacting on the Muppet Central and Palisades forums, making the graphics for Muppet Mindsets’ weekly Muppet Wednesdays, and so much more!

You can see our induction at the 34 min mark, but you should watch the whole thing and support all these amazing inductees.

BREAKING NEWS: "The Muppet Show" Returning in 2026!

The rumors circulation around the web about the possibility of The Muppet Show returning have been CONFIREMED to indeed be true!

Disney and The Muppets posted the following on their social media platforms:

It's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights, it's time to get things started as The Muppet Show returns for a triumphant event on Disney+ in 2026 with special guest star Sabrina Carpenter!

This brand-new installment from The Muppets Studio and Point Grey Pictures will feature Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and the gang as they return to the Muppet Theatre to put on a variety show filled with music, comedy, and plenty of chaos.

Now, before you get your hopes and expectation too high, so far this is being labeled as an "Event" special and not a full series.

The Muppet Show will return in 2026 as a Disney+ special starring (and executive produced by) Sabrina Carpenter — next year marks the 50th anniversary of the original variety series. The hope is for the Muppet Show special to serve as a backdoor pilot for a new season of the iconic series that debuted in the ‘70s.

Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver and Alex McAtee will executive produce the special for Point Grey Pictures. David Lightbody, Leigh Slaughter and Michael Steinbach executive produce for The Muppets Studio.

Albertina Rizzo will write and executive produce; Alex Timbers will direct and executive produce. Matt Vogel and Eric Jacobson are also executive producers. Longtime Muppet performers Bill Barretta, Dave Goelz, Eric Jacobson, Peter Linz, David Rudman and Matt Vogel will all perform their classic characters.

Very exciting news, let's hope this The Muppet Show special becomes a full on revival of the  series!

Herry Monster Gets New Performer!

Sesame Street uploaded a new #ShareTheLaughter challenge video featuring Herry Monster yesterday. What makes it special is it marks the debut of Peter Linz as Herry!

Not only is it the first time we get to hear Peter performing Harry, it was his first recorded piece as the furry blue monster.

That makes two recasts making their debut this week.

Here's a few video of Herry over the years:

I think you'll agree Peter absolutely knocks it out of the park, Jerry Nelson would be proud!

Happy Birthday, Peter Linz!

Happy Birthday to Muppet performer Peter Linz!

You may know him as Walter and Tutter, but he was also the man behind (or underneath) Miss Piggy's rescue penguin Gloria Esefan!
