Pinks Opens First East Coast Location with Mahna Mahna!

The first Pink's Hot Dogs on the east coast had its grand opening today. You're probably asking yourself, "So what, This is a Muppet site what does a hot dog joint have to do with The Muppets?"

The Muppets first used the location for quick gag in 2011's The Muppets...

but Pink's is also known for their celebrity patrons.

You may recall that while performing Mahna Mahna at The Muppets Take The Bowl, Mahna Mahna left the theater and galavanted around famous Hollywood locations via a pre-taped video.

One of the places he stopped was Pink's Hot Dogs! This new location pays tribute to his visit with his photo on the wall alongside other Hollywood A-listers.

Coincidentally, this new Pink's is located in the Philadelphia suburbs near where Bill Barretta, who now performs Mahna Mahna grew up.
