Diamond Select Toys is releasing a set of Muppet action figures packaged to look like the backstage of The Muppet Show.

We reached out to Diamond Select to clarify, it is not a "Playset" like Palisade's release, but just a box designed to look like the backstage of the theater, similar to DST Electric Mayhem SDCC exclusive stage set a few years ago.
If you haven't picked up these figures yet, this is a great way to display them, unfortunately it's not a playset as many have asked for, not does it come the accessories the previous releases had.

The set is expected to be released in November and can be pre-ordered at Big Bad Toy Store ($89.99) and Entertainment Earth ($79.99).
