Sad news as we got the word today that Diamond Select Toys Muppet action figure line has been officially cancelled!
The latest wave was scheduled to include two-packs of Lew Zealand and Lips, Uncle Deadly and Pepe, Sweetums and Robin. This news may not come as a complete shock. They were on display at this year's Toy Fair, only for the company to announce it's closure in May after declaring bankruptcy.
Like many of you, we held out hope they would still be released under the company's new owners, even keeping our pre-order with Entertainment Earth.
"We’re sorry to report that one or more of your Diamond Select Toys pre-orders have been cancelled. As you may already be aware, Diamond Select Toys ceased operations following the bankruptcy of Diamond Comic Distributors and sale of the business. We were recently informed that no remaining open orders will be fulfilled.
As a result, the items listed below have been cancelled from your order. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes."

Hopefully someday another company will release new figures of these characters, but until then consider these figures officially cancelled.
