UPDATE - River Horse's "The Dark Crystal" Card Game CANCELLED!

Three year after River Horse released a Labyrinth Card Game, they've now released a card game based on The Dark Crystal as well.

Update: Unfortunately, we received word from RiverHorse that the project was canceled.

The Dark Crystal Card Game includes 80 beautifully illustrated tarot-sized cards, divided into 24 Major Suit cards ('Vliyaya') and 4 14 Minor Suit cards ('Songs', 'Spirals', 'Swords,' and 'Scepters'). 

The simple core rules allow four players to have a quick, fun game, suitable for all the family. The advanced rules turn the game into a more sophisticated, highly tactical experience, more suitable for grown-ups.

 

The Dark Crystal Card Game arrives in comic stores in June / July and can be ordered online from Boardlandia and Toywiz.

River Horse Studios recently released Labyrinth: The Card Game.

The tarot-size cards are beautifully illustrated by Ralph Horsley, based on beloved designs by Jim Henson and Brian Froud. Each player must choose carefully which cards to play every round – too weak and you will lose the trick, too strong and you will leave yourself open next round. You and your teammate must work together and anticipate each other’s needs in order to claim mastery over the Labyrinth!
