Kermit Makes a Very Brief Last Week Cameo!

This weekend Kermit made a VERY brief cameo on Last Week Tonight With John Oliver.

Kermit is now part of a running gag on the show that sees George Clooney appear every time Oliver snaps his fingers. This weekend Clooney reveled he has the ability to summon Kermit the Frog every time he claps.

Oliver persuaded Clooney to summon Kermit which he did, interrupting our favorite frog's banjo strumming.

Interestingly, both Kermit and his performer Matt Vogel get a credit as does Matt's wife Kelly as a "Supporting Muppet."

I think Last Week just just invented a whole new award category! We now need a "Supporting Muppet" Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Tony, etc.
