Coming Soon: Emmet Otter on Blu-Ray!

It was recently announced that the soundtrack to Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas will finally be released, and now comes word that the special itself will be re-released this year on bluray!

While, it isn't available to pre-order yet, Blu-ray.com, say it will be released December 18th!

Coming Soon: Labyrinth: Under The Spell

While Labyrinth: Coronation is a little more then half way through it's run, Boom! and imprint Archaia announced today a new Labyrinrth anthology series Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Under The Spell.

The first issue features writer S.M. Vidaurri (Steven Universe: Harmony) artist Sarah Webb (Kochab) and the talents of Sina Grace (Iceman), Boya Sun (5 Worlds), and Michael Dialynas (The Woods).

Muppet Babies Spotted at Target!

The new line of Muppet Babies toys is now available! 

The first wave of Target exclusives, which we previewed back on August, has been spotted at select locations.

The line includes action figures:

Plush, including a Fozzie that wasn't in the initial preview:

The first wave does not include action figures or plush of Gonzo or Animal, but hopefully they will be included in a future wave.

At this time, Target's website says these are not in stores or available for shipping yet, but after going to a few different locations, we were able to find the complete set.

Rowlf to Appear on America's Got Talent Champions!

Come January the previous champions of America's Got Talent will duke it out on a whole new show called America's Got Talent Champions!

America's Got Talent Champions premieres January 7th at 8pm on NBC!

Sesame Street put together a wonder tribute to Caroll Spinney on the eve of his retirement. 

 

Caroll Spinney Retires From Sesame Street!

Caroll Spinney is officially retiring from Sesame Street this week, specifically tomorrow will be his last day on the iconic set. 

Due to his physical limitations, he stopped performing Oscar and Big Bird in 2015, while continuing to voice the characters off screen.

His final voice recordings will be used when Sesame Street celebrates its 50th anniversary next year. The shows will on HBO first, and then PBS in 2020.

In the meantime though, Caroll will continue to make appearances at conventions around the country, like his recent appearance at Keystone Comic Con in Philadelphia with Steve Whitmire.

Happytime Murders Official Blu-ray Cover and Extras!

The official cover art and bonus features for The Happytime Murders Bluray and DVD have been revealed!  

The Blu-ray combo pack will include the Blu-ray, DVD, digital copy.

Both the Blu-ray and DVD will contain the following bonus features:

Halloween may still be a few weeks away, but Sesame Street has given us an early treat, "The Cookie Monster Nosh" an instant classic "Monster Mash" Parody!

Confirmed! Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas RSD Exclusive!

Last week a rumor floated that Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas was not only coming to CD for the first time but also an exclusive Record Store exclusive vinyl record. 

Well, Record Store Day released the official list and guess what's on it?

Yup, Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas!

It will be a "Record Store Day First" release meaning other retailers will be able to sell it as a non-limited edition sometime in the future.

The initial LE run will be just 1800 copies. Check your local participating record store on Black Friday to see if they put a hole in the washtub!

Muppets Meet the Classics: Fairy Tales From the Brothers Grimm Now Available!

Once upon a time, or back in January, it was announced that the Muppets would be taking on the Brothers Grimm in a collection of short stories.

In March, On My Disney released a preview of "Kermit the Frog-Prince."
