Disney Parks Muppets Halloween Pin Set!

Disney Parks has new Halloween pin set featuring The Muppets.

The set features Animal, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Fozzie carving pumpkin with each others faces on them as well as a Mickey Mouse Pumpkin that says "Halloween" underneath. 

The pins glow in the dark as well. 

The Muppets enjoy a creative Halloween event by carving pumpkins in each other's likeness for this frighteningly funny 4-piece pin set featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie and Animal displaying their crafts.

Upcoming Henson MOMI Events!

The Museum of the Moving Image has two upcoming, in-person, Jim Henson related events. 

After first running last week, MOMI has a second chance today to catch A Happy Henson Halloween:

Join us for a selection of classic monsters, music, and Muppets, including episodes of The Muppet Show featuring Vincent Price and Alice Cooper and other haunting classic clips from Jim Henson’s work. 

There won’t be tricks, but Jim Henson Legacy President Craig Shemin will introduce the screening and bring along some Muppet treats as gifts for lucky audience members.

Friday, October 29, 3:00 p.m.
Program total running time: 75 mins.

Then next Saturday celebrate the release of Fraggle Rock: The Ultimate Visual History with 
Fraggle Rock: A Celebration.

Featuring special guests author Jody Revenson, puppet designer/builder Rollie Krewson, Karen Falk (The Jim Henson Company), and Craig Shemin (The Jim Henson Legacy). Program followed by a book signing in the Museum Shop.

To celebrate the new book Fraggle Rock: The Ultimate Visual History from Insight Editions, join co-author Jody Revenson, Director of The Jim Henson Company Archives Karen Falk, and moderator Craig Shemin for a discussion punctuated by classic and rare video clips from Jim Henson’s groundbreaking series. Fraggle Rock, which originally aired on HBO from 1983–1987, is now being revived with all-new episodes for Apple TV+, where you can also watch the original series. Revenson will be signing books (available for sale in the Museum Shop) immediately following the theater presentation.

Sesame Street Treats Us to The Cookie Monster Nosh!

Halloween may still be a few weeks away, but Sesame Street has given us an early treat, "The Cookie Monster Nosh" an instant classic "Monster Mash" Parody!

Labyrinth Jareth Costume!

With Halloween only a few days you may be still scrambling to find that perfect costume. Well, we found the KING of all costumes - King of the Goblins that is!

As part of the film's 30th Anniversary, Spirit Halloween pop up stores have an official Labyrinth Jareth costume!

It's exclusive to Spirit Halloween stores, but don't worry if you don't have one in your area, as it's also offered online.

The wig is sold separately and for some reason NOT available on their website.

Muppet Halloween Costumes on ABC!

The Muppets may have a new ABC show, but that's not the only place they popped up on the alphabet network this week.

Immediately following the latest episode of the show Tuesday, Fresh Off The Boat aired a Halloween episode that featured two Muppet costumes. 

While the show takes place in the early nineties, neither of of these costumes is period accurate. 

Check out the scene below:

Fresh Off The Boat  wasn't the only ABC show this week to feature a Muppet costume either. Wednesday night on The Goldberg's, a neighborhood kid dressed up as Kermit.

"Kermit" was seen a few times throughout the episode!

While also not period accurate, we'll cut the kid some slack- maybe his mom made it. 

Anyway it's always great to see random Muppet love!
