Hallmark Muppet and Sesame Street "Better Together" Magnetic Plush!

Hallmark has two sets of Magnetic Plush Pairs that Henson fans will want to add to their collections featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy and Bert and Ernie.

Hallmark Reveals 2025 Muppet and Sesame Street Ornaments!

Hallmark’s new Dream Book was released this week and in it are photos of this year’s Muppet and Sesame Street ornaments.

As you can see for this year's Muppet ornament we’re not just getting Kermit playing his banjo on a log - but an signing ANIMATED Kermit sitting on a log playing "Rainbow Connection" on his banjo.

Hallmark's Sesame Street ornament is also playing it a bit safe with yet another Elmo ornament, this time featuring the little red monster ice skating.

Both will be available in Hallmark's first wave of ornaments in July.

First Look: Hallmark's 2024 Muppet Ornament!

Images from Hallmark's 2024 Dream Book have started to make their way online and they've revealed this year's Hallmark Muppet ornament is ... "First Mate Piggy and The Swinetrek"!

The ornament features Miss Piggy in the Pigs in Space costume she wore in the 2016 YouTube short, “The Gravity of the Situation," tethered to a small model of the Swinetrek.

This marks the first Pigs in Space ornament and will sure to be a crowd pleaser when Hallmark releases it in July. 

Hallmark Unveils 2023 Muppet Ornament(s)!

Leaked images of Hallmark's 2023 Dreambook reveal the company is releasing not one, but two Muppet ornaments this year.

As you can see above this year's Muppet ornaments are Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant Beaker.

There's a catch however, as they will packaged together in one box. 

This marks Hallmark's second Beaker ornament - the first being Beaker with a metronome that plaid "Ode to Joy" from the YouTube short. 

Sadly, it looks like neither of these ornaments have any sound features. Hopefully they're decently sized and last year's Animal ornament was MUCH smaller then previous installments. 

Interestingly, there was no mention or any images of this year's Sesame Street ornaments(s). 

Hallmark's 2022 Muppet Animal Ornament Now Available!

Hallmark's 2022 Muppet ornament "Animal's Christmas Present"  is now available. 

Below are some closeups of the ornament:

As you can see the ornament features Animal popping out of a still wrapped box wearing a Santa hat and branding two candy canes instead of drumsticks. 

Kudos to Hallmark for going back to back to their old box design. As you can see above, the graphics are much bigger on the box then last year.

The Sesame Street Elmo and His Puppy, Tango ornament was supposed to be released this past weekend as well, but has been delayed. 

The Oscar the Grouch "Peekbuster" is still slated to be released in October.

First Look: Hallmark's 2022 Muppet & Sesame Ornaments!

Today we have our first look at Hallmark's 2022 Muppet & Sesame Street Ornaments.

As you can see while yet ANOTHER Elmo ornament being released, there are two OTHER Muppets besides Kermit and Cookie Monster being represented this year. 

For this year's Muppet ornament we have "Animal's Christmas Present." 

The ornament features Animal popping out of a still wrapped box wearing a Santa hat and branding two candy canes instead of drumsticks. 

The was designed by Rodney Gentry and will be released in July. 

As for Hallmark's Sesame Street collection, an ornament of "Elmo and his puppy, Tango" will be released in July, while an Oscar the Grouch "Peekbuster" will follow in October.

No Joke - Hallmark unveils 2021 Muppet Ornaments!

It may be April Fool's Day, but Hallmark unveiled their 2021 lineup of ornaments including two new Sesame Street ornaments and a new Muppet ornament as well.

Sadly, 2021 seems to be rerun/ reboot year for their Muppet offerings. Hallmark only acquired the Sesame Street license in 2019 and has already released three different Cookie Monster and Elmo ornaments. 

This year will bring that total to four each. 

"Elmo's Magic Piano" will play the Elmo's World theme song and will be released in October.

While Cookie Monster wearing a Santa hat and carrying cookie presents will be available in June. 

I know Elmo and Cookie Monster sell very well, but I'm sure Bert & Ernie, The Count, Oscar, or any of the MANY MANY other Sesame characters could be big sellers as well. 

Their 2021 Muppet ornament isn't much better.

Kermit and Miss Pigg are both big sellers for Hallmark, so it makes sense to combine their drawing power. Though this in now the third year in row Hallmark released a Kermit ornament.  

Also, if "Kermit's Holiday Hug" above looks familiar though, it's because the Disney Store released a very similar ornament in 2010.

We're going to chalk this up to a reboot and like most reboots there's good and bad. While Miss Piggy looks better in the Hallmark version, Kermit looks worse. His expression is almost blank compared to the Disney version and he's so small he looks like a doll.  

The Disney version was also flocked and had a glittery snow mound as a base. This was helpful if you wanted to use it as a decoration, instead of an ornament. The Hallmark version doesn't look stable enough to stand on its own, and looks like it can only be used as an ornament. 

"Kermit's Holiday Hug" will be available in June. 

If anyone from Hallmark is reading this, I hope 2022 and beyond brings more character 

variety. Our trees and holiday decorations deserve more then just Elmo, Cookie monster, and Kermit variations and that's no joke.

Hallmark released their first wave of ornaments this weekend including new versions of Elmo and Kermit.

The Muppet Show Musical Ornament

Ladies and gentlemen, it's Christmas time—and it's "The Muppet Show" on your tree! Fans of the beloved Jim Henson characters will love to make this Christmas ornament a very special guest star in their holiday decorating. Commemorate Cookie Monster's recurring segment of the beloved television show with this Christmas tree ornament that plays phrases from the foodie fellow (battery-operated). Mmmmm, me want cookie now!
Also of note, this year Hallmark redesigned their packaging and it's extremely disappointing. The images of the ornaments are small and shoved to the bottom.

Below you can see boxes for "The Muppet Show":

The box for "Deck the Halls With Elmo" is slightly better with more information taking up space, while The Muppet Show box looks depressingly empty and features generic connect  on the back.

First Look: Hallmark's 2020 Muppet and Sesame Street Ornaments!

Christmas may seem far away, but we have a your first look at Hallmark's 2020 Muppet and Sesame Street ornaments!

For their 2020 Sesame collection Hallmark has Elmo with Christmas garland:

UPDATE: "Deck the Halls With Elmo" will be available July 11, 2020 for $15.99.

It great to see Hallmark showing some love to a new fan favorite segment with Cookie Monster and Gonger in their Monster Foodie Truck:

UPDATE: Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck will have an audio track with different sayings. 
Unfortunately, they only feature Cookie Monster. So while Gonger is on the ornement he is not heard.

On the Muppet side, after two years of focusing on Kermit's movie moments, they're returning to The Muppet Show .... with another Kermit. This time popping out of the famous Muppet Show sign as he did to get every episode of the show started.

Sesame Street Fluffballs!

Hallmark released a new line of plush called fluffballs. 

Fluffballs are plush heads of famous characters that can also be used as ornaments, though I didn't see any way to attach a hook. 

The initial wave consists of Cookie Monster, Elmo, Abby, and Big Bird. 

The Cookie Monster and Elmo Fluffballs were spotted at Walgreens in their Hallmark section and may be at other retailers as well. 

Muppet Babies Wrapping Paper!

Hallmark has an line of "Expressions" gift wrap made for specialty stores like Dollar Tree.

Among the new Disney designs this year is Muppet Babies.It's hard to see the full image from the rolls below, but thankfully they display the pattern on the biz which you can see above. 

These might be a bit tricky to find as not every store has every design. It went to a few Dollar Tree locations before I them, though that may because their holiday stock wasn't fully out.


The box they're grouped in looks like this and has a sample of the Muppet Babies pattern:

New Sesame Street Hallmarks Ornaments!

Hallmark released two more Sesame Street ornaments featuring Cookie Monster and Elmo. 

These ornaments are not park of the Keepsake line and can be found at stores like Walmart. 

1981 Muppet Advent Calendar Card Day 24!
