Ben Affleck and Matt Damon Meet Cookie Monster at TUDUM Event!

Over thew weekend Netflix held it's annual TUDUM fan event with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon having an unexpected encounter with Cookie Monster.

Affleck and Damon's Netlix movie The Rip will release globally January 16, 2026.

Sesame Street's 56 season will premier later this year on Netflix and PBS Kids.

Sesame Street Headed to Paris!

Our Sesame Street friends are heading to Paris this summer for the Olympics. 

Sesame will create "Bespoke Illustrations to be Featured Across Its Social Platforms Promoting NBCU’s Coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and Paris Olympics"

STAMFORD, Conn. and NEW YORK, N.Y. – June 6, 2024 – NBCUniversal is teaming up with Sesame Street to bring Elmo and his friends to Paris as part of its comprehensive coverage of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 this summer. The announcement was made this morning when Cookie Monster appeared on TODAY.

Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and Tango will be featured in activations across Sesame Street’s social media platforms leading into and during the Games, including the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The pre-Games activations will feature beloved Sesame Street muppets in bespoke illustrations detailing their hot air balloon journey from Sesame Street across the Atlantic Ocean to Paris. Following their arrival in Paris, NBCU will incorporate the Sesame team into its comprehensive social and broadcast coverage surrounding the Games.

Elmo & Cookie Monster appeared on PBS' A Capitol Fourth yesterday. 

The duo popped up throughout the program with host Alfonso Ribeiro specially a the 10, 38:43, 47:26, and 1:21:47 marks. 

The show also included performances by Chicago, Boyz II Men, Belinda Carlisle, Babyface, Maddie & Tae, Charles Esten, Renée Fleming, Adrienne Warren, and the Northwell Nurse Choir and featuring the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of premier pops conductor Jack Everly.

Sesame Street's Cookie Monster and Count Von Count popped up outside their usual residence on the street.

First, Cookie Monster snacked with stars such as Liam Neeson, Michael Bublé, Kate Hudson, Jay Leno, and Sylvester Stallone in a Fox Sports Super Bowl ad.

It great to see Hallmark showing some love to a new fan favorite segment with Cookie Monster and Gonger in their Monster Foodie Truck:

UPDATE: Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck will have an audio track with different sayings. 
Unfortunately, they only feature Cookie Monster. So while Gonger is on the ornement he is not heard.

On the Muppet side, after two years of focusing on Kermit's movie moments, they're returning to The Muppet Show .... with another Kermit. This time popping out of the famous Muppet Show sign as he did to get every episode of the show started.

SCULPT

In order to make an authentic replica, Hasbro product designers took measurements of the actual photorealistic Cookie Monster puppet used for Sesame Street’s still shots to create and build the skeleton. Scale, height, posture, and positioning had to be just right.

PERFECT PLUSH:

Product designer Teresa Levy paid special attention to Cookie Monster’s fur color and texture when meeting with Cookie Monster and the Sesame Street team. A swatch was sent to Hasbro’s factory to replicate the dyes and tumbling of the plush. Can you find the swatch of the real Cookie Monster plush within ours?

A full-size, fully poseable final model includes articulation in the hips so Cookie Monster can sit and stand, bendy wire in the hands and fingers, hinged mouth that opens and closes, and a ball joint that allows neck to move and pivot.

Big Bird and Cookie Monster recently made appearances at two major league baseball stadiums to teach respect and sing classic baseball songs.

First, Big Bird went to Yankees Stadium to heal the deep rivalry between them and the Red Sox.
