RIP Roy Clark (1933 - 2018)

Country music legend and Muppet Show guest star Roy Clark has died. 

Roy Clark, who addition to his music career, was also the host of the long-running TV series Hee Haw, which was the brainchild of Jim Henson's talent manager, Bernie Brillstein. 

Clark was recognized as "Entertainer of the Year" by the Country Music Association in 1973, won a Grammy in 1982, and was a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry. We all remember him as guest starring on the 3rd season of The Muppet Show.

According to his publicist, he died of complications from pneumonia at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

Roy Clark was 85.
