New Zealand Mint Releases Miss Piggy Coin!

The next coin in the New Zealand Mint's Muppet collection, has just been released and it features the one and only Miss Piggy.

This fabulous Disney Muppets 1oz Silver Coin shows Miss Piggy coloured and engraved in numerous diva poses – including one embracing her beloved Kermie! The addition of the Muppets logo completes the design. The coin is legal tender in Niue with the obverse featuring the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Packaged in an acrylic block, the coin fits snugly inside its Muppet-themed packaging, featuring a headshot of the diva herself. The uniquely numbered Certificate of Authenticity is also found inside the packaging, which confirms it as a limited-edition coin with a worldwide mintage of only 10,000.
