David Bowie Labyrinth Stamp!

The Isle of Man is issuing a series of stamps commemorating David Bowie's acting career and one of the stamps features his iconic performance as Jareth, the Goblin King, from Labyrinth.

Nicholas Pegg is one of the leading authorities on the career of Bowie and the author of The Complete David Bowie, described by the artist’s longtime producer Tony Visconti as “the best Bowie reference book one could ever hope for”. In the Bowie Stamp Booklet Nick shares his perspective on David’s natural ability to study characters and tell their stories in his performances.

The stamp designs come in a wide variety of collectibles.

Bowie Box

A digital view of the Bowie Box really doesn’t do justice to the sheer quality of the design and print finish. Every aspect of it speaks Bowie. Combining the Bowie Stamp Card Set and Bowie Stamp Booklet in a neatly designed gold metallic slipcase and gatefold wallet, this box set will sit perfectly alongside your Bowie CD and DVD collections.

The Bowie Stamp Card Set is a beautiful collection of gleaming part-metallic printed cards including all eight stamp images plus the set combined on a ninth card, all held between two metallic gold cover cards with explanatory text. View the David Bowie: Actor collection at a larger scale to see the full detail of Jonathan’s designs, very easy to share and admire with fellow Bowie fans and collectors. Perfect for framing, each card is 12.5cm square.

The elegantly designed Bowie Stamp Booklet features two uniquely presented sets of stamps bound within a beautifully printed 28 page mini book. With chapters dedicated to each stamp subject, Nicholas Pegg’s insightful text is complemented by superb imagery specifically developed for this wonderful mini-masterpiece by Jonathan Barnbrook, and the print quality is outstanding.
