MakerBot Releases More 3D Printable Sesame Figures!

MakerBot released the next wave of their 3D printable Sesame figures. 

Series 3 consists of Elmo, Bert, Ernie, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch. Each has an optional holiday accessory that can be removed when the holiday season is over. 

Walk like an Egyptian Bert with his wrapped pink soap dish:

 I really like the how this one shows the cool  squash and stretch distortion of the figure.

More 3D Printable Sesame Figures!

It makes sense to end the month of October as we started, with three more 3D printable Sesame Street toys figures from Makerbot!

The Brooklyn NY studio announced Wednesday, and just in time for Halloween, that specs for Sesame Street monsters Frazzle, Super Grover, and Cookie Monster are available 
to purchase. You can them either individually or as a set.

3D Sesame Figures and Le Maximum!

You may have seen recently that Sesame Street and Makerbot came out with 3D designs for those with access to a 3D printer to make at will. 

The designs can be bought individually or as a set here.

But, did you know Le Maximum, Jean Pierre Napoleon's car from Muppets Most Wanted, was made by a 3D printer as well?

It's true! Propshop, a 3D conceptual design and manufacturing company, modeled the car using 3D software, printed it, then put it all together in the real world.
