Hidden Merch Revealed in "Rock N' Roller Coaster" Concept Art?

Last week concept art was released for the retheming of Rock N' Rollercoaster Starring The Muppets, but were there also hidden easter eggs of the merch we can expect when the ride opens?

Above is the artists rendering of the Muppet takeover. The giant red guitar has a psychedelic paint job reminiscent of The Electric Mayhem's bus, but look closely at the guests taking in all it's splendor...

There's this guy wearing sleeveless a jean jacket that has a "The Muppets Electric Mayhem" logo on the back, similar to the one used for The Muppets Mayhem

This woman is wearing a jacket with a wide open mouth, similar to the Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem Mouth logo.

There's also this person wearing a biker style studded vest with wings that could also easily have a Electric Mayhem logo on it.

The que concept art also has a potentially hidden merchandise reveal as well.

This girl recording the preshow on her phone is wearing a shirt with the "The Muppets Electric Mayhem" logo on the back, again similar to the one used for The Muppets Mayhem.

Are these the type of items we can expect when Rock N' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens next year? Sure.

Are these the exact items? Only time will tell, but it's exciting to see Disney actively thinking about more then just the look of the ride, but what Muppet fans will be wearing while experiencing the attraction as well.

Below is the official description of the new ride.

Transformation in the Courtyard

The makeover of the roller coaster begins in the Courtyard of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. The legendary Muppet magnate and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse, has purchased G-Force Records and hired his reliable nephew Scooter to run the operation and completely redesign the Courtyard. A new psychedelic wrap gives the iconic red guitar landmark a groovy twist, inspired by a classic Muppet car paint job. The piano motif at the base of the guitar will feature a golden key as a homage to the golden tooth of a certain far-out bandleader.

Experience in the Queue

Once in the queue, VIP guests will discover the Muppets band Electric Mayhem recording new tracks in the studio. In the control room, a team of penguin sound engineers works hard, while band manager Scooter tries to convince the musicians to wrap up and head to their increasingly restless fans.

Adrenaline-Pumping Ride Through Hollywood

With help from Muppet Labs and a very fast limousine, guests will embark on a curvy, twisting, and scream-filled road trip through Hollywood to make it to the concert on time. The iconic scenery and landmarks of Tinseltown will get a Muppet twist, while a soundtrack of iconic rock hits, performed by Electric Mayhem, pumps up the adrenaline.

In case you missed it, below are The Muppets announcing the attraction.

Muppet Studios: The Lost Legacy!

For thirty years Muppet fans have wondered what the proposed "Muppet Studios" land at Disney's Hollywood Studios would have look like.

Over the years we've heard the plans and seen glimpses of art work, but for the first time we now know how it would have all come together.

For his YouTube channel Sizzle Map, Forrest Mallard interviewed
Imagineer Marcelo Vignali, who not only designed the rides, restaurants, and gift shop, he also provided never before seen artwork.

Explore the forgotten magic of Muppet Studios Land at Walt Disney World with the documentary, "Muppet Studios: The Lost Legacy." This compelling film delves into the abandoned dreams and whimsical visions that once brought the Muppets to life in a dedicated land. Featuring exclusive interviews with Marcelo Vignali, one of the visionary Imagineers responsible for designing the lost rides, attractions, and restaurants.

This documentary offers a rare glimpse into the creative process that shaped this unrealized gem. Vignali shares captivating anecdotes about his time working on the Muppet Studios project, providing insights into the challenges, triumphs, and tragedies he faced with his team. Viewers are treated to never-before-seen artwork, unveiling the intricate details of the Great Muppet Movie Ride, and other planned attractions that never came to fruition.

Marcelo Vignali ends the documentary on a positive note, explaining how the spirit of Muppet Studios lives on in other Disney themed lands and attractions around the world. "Muppet Studios: The Lost Legacy" is a nostalgic journey through the unexplored corners of Disney history, reminding us of the vibrant Muppet dreams that once danced within Disney/MGM Studios.

Jim Henson Tribute & Muppet*Vision 3D!

Today is one of those bittersweet days of the year as we mark the passing of Jim Henson.

As you probably know, just before he died Jim was in the process of selling his company to Disney.

As Disney's Hollywood Studios turns 30 this year, it appears that The Muppets presence in the park is being slowly phased out.

Jim Henson's name, the balloon, and even the original sign have all since been removed, and we get updates every so often that even more parts of the Muppet area being de-Muppetfied.
Muppet*Vision 2019
Hower, shortly before his death Disney produced a video of Jim Henson speaking about the Muppets for Disney employees.

It's a great reminder of who The Muppets are for and what The Muppets can be.

Muppet*Vision 3D was the final production Jim worked on and was opened exactly one year after his death.

Below you'll find both the full Muppet*Vision 3D preshow as well as the show itself, encompassing all the elements around theater, courtesy of the same youtube account.

The fact that Muppet Vision has run countless times daily for 28 years and still holds up is a testament to Jim's legacy. We'll always wonder what couldn't have been, but we still have everything that was.

We hope Disney takes note and renews their vow to keep the magic alive.

We still miss you, Jim!
