The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Gets Two Record Store Day Releases!

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing Record Store Day has now been expanded to 3 days and two of those will see the release of two different The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance soundtrack picture discs. 

Varèse Sarabande Records announced that The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Aureyal Picture Disc) will now be released September 26, and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Crystal Chamber Picture Disc) October 24th.

Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Record Store Day Picture Discs Postponed!

Varèse Sarabande Records has postponed the release of the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Record Store Day vinyl picture discs. 

Varèse Sarabande release the following statement via twitter:


"Due to an unforeseen manufacturing delay, our picture disc releases for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and Mortal Kombat soundtracks will unfortunately no longer be part of Record Store Day 2020."

No doubt the "manufacturing delay" is due to coronavirus factory closures. We'll keep you posted as to when they will be released.

Varèse Sarabande Records revealed they are releasing not one, but two different Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance vinyl picture discs for Record Store Day.

Each version will feature different music and images featuring the Crystal Chamber and the other featuring the Aureyal.
