RIP Larry King (1933-2021)

Radio and cable talk show host Larry King has died.

While best known hosting Larry King Live on CNN from 1985 to 2010, King appeared with the Muppets on several occasions.

In December 1993 he interviewed Kermit, Miss Piggy, Cheryl Henson and Frank Oz, as they promoted for Jim Henson: The Works. During the appearance, King even offered Kermit a spot guest hosting the show on April Fools Day, which Kermit later did.

King made a cameo in the Billy Crystal of Muppets Tonight where he tried to convince Bobo the Bear to let him in and later had Johnny Fiama and Sal Minella on his Christmas Eve 1996 show.

Miss Piggy's 1996 cookbook, "In the Kitchen with Miss Piggy" has King's recipe for "Favorite Tuna Health Salad."

He also appeared on the Sesame Street specials The Street We Live On and All-Star Alphabet as well as interviewing the letter W in Episode 4079.

Larry King was 87.
