At long last Disney has made our wishes come true, The Muppet Show is coming to Disney+.
Last week The Muppets posted this very cryptic message on social media:
Calling all Muppet fans! Get ready for a major and important Muppet announcement coming soon. What is it? We have no idea.

Many fans hoped that this meant the classic series would finally arriving on the Disney's streaming service, and today they made it official!
As part of the announcement Leigh Slaughter, Leigh Slaughter, Vice President of The Muppets Studio and Characters Strategy, Disney Live Entertainment posted this article, which includes some interesting info like "the Muppets have been a part of Walt Disney Imagineering for the last couple of years." Imagineering sounds like a step up from consumer products, which is where our fuzzy friends resided for their first few years under the mouse.*plays music*

What we don't know yet is whether these will be complete and uncut or if certain songs will be omitted for copyright reasons.
We'll all find out together when The Muppet Show starts streaming February 19 on Disney+.
