High end watch manufacture Bamford has a new line of extremely limited (and expensive) Sesame Street watches.
While the Cookie Monster and Elmo watches are somewhat reasonably priced for high end watches and their edition size, the Big Bird watch is over $1,600! Below is their official descriptions and UK prices.
Standing tall, 8-foot 2-inches in real life, on the dial of the Bamford London dual time GMT, Big Bird is larger than life with his feathered arms moving around the dial as the hour and minute hands. The yellow and black colour ways on a matte black case and bracelet accentuate the bright fun character.
The iconic Sesame Street logo features on the dial and an orange ring has been added accentuating the characters stance, making Big Bird almost pop right out of the dial. The 24-hour GMT hand has been inspired by Big Bird’s striped legs and continuing the playful design, many of the hour markers have been replaced by feathers.
This unique 20-piece limited edition timepiece is housed in a special bright yellow packaging.
“COOKIE!”… Cookie Monster is best known for his voracious appetite and the Bamford x Sesame Street Cookie Monster Mayfair perfectly represents his insatiable craving for cookies. Cookie Monster’s arms as the hour and minute hands move around the dial pointing to cookies (some already nibbled…) placed by the hour markers.
Designed on a matte black case and bezel and paired with a blue nato strap, Cookie Monster’s blue colour ways flow throughout including blue rings on the dial. The date wheel has been removed creating a balanced circular design, and showcases the iconic Sesame Street logo.
This unique 50-piece limited edition timepiece is housed in a special bright yellow packaging.
Known for his laughter and optimistic view, Elmo is surrounded by musical notes placed by the hour markers on the dial of the Bamford London Mayfair Sport. The red high impact polymer case, bezel and rubber strap with black accents compliment Elmo’s same colour ways. The iconic Sesame Street logo features on the dial and a white ring has been added to match the white minute markers whilst also bringing Elmo to life and almost popping right out of the dial. Enthusiastic, friendly and cheerful, Elmo is every part of this watch with his arms telling the time as the hour and minute hands.
This unique 50-piece limited edition timepiece is housed in a special bright yellow packaging.

Today is a monumental day for Muppet Performer birthdays. Not one, not two, but three of our favorite doll wigglers share the same birthday.
First up we have Ryan Dillon, who has been the guy underneath Elmo (an other various Sesame Street residence) for almost a decade.
Dillon has been so successful at taking over Elmo, that he now headlines his own, Not Too Late talk show.
Below is Ryan performing Elmo live during a performance of 2019's Jazz at Lincoln Center Presents: A Swingin' Sesame Street Celebration.
Next is Allan Trautman who has worked under, around, and behind many Muppet and Henson puppets since joining the Muppets on Muppet *Vision 3D.
He's known as one of the best "face" man in the business operating the face / mouth on many larger creature shop characters like Fran Sinclair (as well as many other Dinosaurs) and Earth to Ned's alien talk show host Ned. He also performs General Skelly on Nickelodeon's TheBarbarian and the Troll.
Click here to read a What's On Disney Plus interview with Allan and below he talks about what it takes to bring a character to life:
Last, but certainly not least is one of Jim Henson's earliest collaborators, the guy who made Cookie Monster, Bert, Grover, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Animal, and Sam Eagle household names - Frank Oz.
Below Frank talks about his characters
Fozzie's first appearance on The Muppet Show where Frank initially used a much deeper voice. When the pilot was reworked, they played off the voice as Fozzie's John Wayne impersonation.
Of course Frank brought more than just the Muppets to life, he was also instrumental in bring Star Wars' Yoda to life as well a being an accomplished director who most recently brought us Muppet Guys Talking and In and of Itself.
Below Oz talk about Muppet Guys Talking and Jim Henson's legacy.
Happy Birthday to Ryan Dillon, Allan Trautman, and Frank Oz!
Sesame Street and The Wiggles have teamed up to create two new music videos combing the children's entertainment icons.
Below is the official release:
Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, and The Wiggles are excited to announce a new two-music video collaboration, in commemoration of a combined 80 years of children’s entertainment excellence.
Both brands recently celebrated milestones with Sesame Street marking its historic 50th season last year and The Wiggles kicking off their 2021 celebration of 30 years of children’s entertainment. The two beloved children’s brands last joined forces to release a new take on The Wiggles’ classic hit song “Do the Propeller,” on YouTube in November 2019.
From moving your Arms to Zooming around, get ready for “ABCs of Moving You” with Sesame Street and The Wiggles. With an updated version of the Sesame Street song (originally sung with Usher), Cookie Monster, Elmo and Abby Cadabby and their friends The Wiggles dance and sing through the letters of the alphabet. Custom versions of the music video debut on Sesame Street’s and The Wiggles’ YouTube channels today. Fans can also enjoy a playlist of Favorite Songs from Sesame Street and The Wiggles, featuring 20 songs.
Sesame Street and The Wiggles new version of "ABCs of Moving You":
This video will be followed in June with a reimagining of The Wiggles famous song “Fruit Salad.” Starring The Wiggles – Anthony Field, Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce, Emma Watkins and Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster, Abby and Elmo, this fun music video virtually features fruit being dropped and passed between screens adding playful and colorful elements.
The Wiggles “Fruit Salad”:
“What better way to celebrate the 30th year of The Wiggles, and 50 years of Sesame Street in Australia, than with a brand-new music video? We had so much fun the first time around, we just had to reunite,” said Jenny Gioia, VP of Multimedia Programming, Sesame Workshop. “We’re thrilled to team up and provide new content on our YouTube channels for kids and their families to laugh, learn and sing with some of their favorite friends.”
“Collaborating with Sesame Street feels so natural and makes so much sense,” says Anthony Field, Blue Wiggle and founding member of The Wiggles. “We share the same desire to consistently make music that entertains and educates. It was particularly fun performing together on this Sesame Street classic.”
Diamond Select Toys announced they're re-releasing The Electric Mayhem as part of their Best of The Muppets line.
It’s time to play the music! Series 3 of the Best of the Muppets action figures features none other than the Electric Mayhem band! Dr. Teeth with Zoot, Floyd with Janice and Animal with his drum kit make up the three packs in this series, and each figure features their instrument as well as multiple points of articulation. Each figure or figure pair comes packaged in a full-color window box. Sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios!
Dr. Teeth comes with his keyboard while Zoot comes with his saxophone.
I can see how the individual release of Dt Teeth and Zoot could be very divisive to fans who paid big buck for the box set last year. But this will allow more fans to pick them up to compete their sets. Plus, now you can leave the box set sealed and pick these up to open.
UPDATE:
We've spoken to Diamond and "Floyd and Janice come with guitar, bass, harmonica, tambourine, speaker, and mike/mike stand."
Series 3 of the Best of the Muppets action figures featuring the Electric Mayhem will be available in August but is available now to preorder at Big Bad Toy Stoy via the links above.
“I got wind that she was a Sesame Street fan, and was able to make this magical moment happen,” Scott told Elle. “I was like, ‘Oh, I need to go on set. I need to be up in this.’ So that’s my hope and prayer: that I get to get on Sesame Street for real.”
Musgraves achieved that goal last year when she performed "Rubber Duckie" on The Not-Too Late Show with Elmo and taped segments for Sesame Street's 52nd season which will premiere on HBO Max in November.
Check out photos of the campaign starring Musgraves, below.
Exclusive styles from the Moschino x Sesame Street collection are currently available in China, while the complete 33-piece collection, including items not seen above like a cropped denim vest set, knitted cardigan, tracksuits, T-shirts, and sneakers, are scheduled for release worldwide on May 25.

A couple of NBC series showed some major Muppet love over the weekend.
As most Muppet fans have seen my now Saturday Night Live's hand crafted Muppet Show skit blew up the internet thanks in part to media outlets like Variety claiming the puppets were the "actual Muppets."
If you’re one of the only people in the world who has not seen the clip, here it is below. Spoiler Alert: Those are NOT the actual Muppets.
However, there was another series that managed to shout the world of Jim Henson without having to punch any geriatric hecklers in the process.
Zoe‘s Extraordinary Playlist started it’s season finale with one of Sesame Street's most famous songs “Sing."
For some reason the full video is not on the show's official YouTube page yet, but her are a few clips:
