Shown on television only once - February 10, 1976, the episode drew letters from parents and even some kids that were too scared to watch the show ever again.
Sesame Street decided to never air the episode again and locked it away in their the vault, never to be seen again. Unless in special circumstances like museum screening like the Museum of the moving image did a few years ago.
The episode revolves around Margaret Hamilton reprising her role as the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz.
The Wicked Witch loses her flying broomstick and proceeds to terrify the street trying to get it back.
