Sesame Place Classic Character Plush - Gladys the Cow!

This year's Sesame Place Classic Character will have you MOOOOvin' your butt to pick one up, Gladys the Cow! 

Gladys first appeared in season 4 before Richard Hunt took over the role a made her into the bovine diva she is known to be. The acting, dancing, and singing cow is now performed by Jennifer Barnhart.

Sesame Place Classic Character Plush Little Bird!

Sesame Place teased their latest classic character plush will be a ... little, yellow, bird.

We're pretty sure this means Sesame Place's newest Classic Character plush is Little Bird!

Little Bird began as Muppet version of Kenner's Gooney Bird mascot and as was first used for in a 1968  Easy Bake Oven commercial.

Little Bird was used mostly in the first 2 season of Sesame Street, made several cameo appearances during the 1980s and 1990s, then returned for new appearances in in the show's 50th season.

Sesame Place Classic Character Plush Alice Snuffleupagus!

Sesame Place unveiled it's latest classic character plush - Alice Snuffleupagus.

To tease the release, Sesame Place posted a not so subtle clue on social media:

If that one clue didn't give it away then you must not know a Snuffleupagus from a Warren Wolf. 

Alice now joins Slimey Two-Headed Monster, Yip Yip Martian, Ovejita, Guy Smiley and more in the line. 

 

If you can't make it to either Sesame Place park or a SeaWorld with a Sesame Street area, Alice is also available for a limited time online. 

Sesame Place Unveils Guy Smiley Classic Character Collection Plush!

If you didn't guess from Sesame Place's tease yesterday, the next plush in their classic character line is everybody's favorite game show host Guy Smiley!

Sesame Place Teases Next Classic Character Plush!

Sesame Place teased their next classic character plush will be, and we're pretty sure it'll leave many fans SMILING!

If only there was some sort of game show where you could guess the plush.... and way, the mystery Classic Character plush will be officially reveled tomorrow on Sesame Place's social channels. 

Sesame Place's 2021 Classic Character is a Two For One!

Sesame Place unveiled their 2021 "Classic Character" plush and while it's not a new addition to the line, it's certainly a welcome one.

Yes, that's right, Sesame Place finally brought back The Two-Headed Monster. When originally released back in 2014 it sold out fairly quickly and fans have been clamoring to get one ever since. 

I met up with MegaPodTastic's "Krazy Joe" at the park yesterday and can confirm that The Two-Headed Monster is now available at Sesame Place's gift shops Mr. Hooper’s Emporium, Sesame Souvenirs and online through mailorder@sesameplace.com.

Sesame Place Opens For 2020!

Sesame Place opens today for the first time this season and, like most things in 2020, things will be a little different.

As the parks celebrates its 40th anniversary, in order to manage park capacity and maintain physical distancing, visits to Sesame Place will require a reservation.

When you purchase a date-specific ticket, it will automatically come with a reservation.

New this year is the Big Bird's Tour Bus ride.

Our sources tell us that while there won't be a new "Classic Character" plush this year, the park will be re-releasing some past Classic Characters for a limited time.

Sesame Place Classic Character 2019 - Ovejita!

Sesame Place announced their 2019 Classic Character plush is...Ovejita!

Ovejita made her debut in 2008 in "What's the Word on the Street" and "Murray Has a Little Lamb" segments. 

Having such a modern character in the "Classic Character" is odd, but makes sense as there may not be much general demand for Ovejita products compared to Elmo or Cookie Monster.  

The limited edition "Classic Character" Ovejita plush is available now at Sesame Place. 

Unfortunately, it not available online yet. 

Sesame Place Classic Character Exclusive Twiddlebug Plush!

After teasing on social media who would be this year's exclusive classic character plush...

Sesame Place unveiled it would a green Twiddlebug! The best part is you won't even need a magnifying glass to get a good look at it!

Strangely though, it doesn't appear to a member of the regularly featured Twiddlebug family,

but a generic Twiddlebug that sort of reassembles the green one pictured below:

You can get your very own Twiddlebug exclusively at Sesame Place and possibly on their website at some point. The park opens for season pass holders tomorrow and for everyone else Saturday, April 28th!

Sesame Place Classic Character Slimey Plush!

A few years ago Sesame Place started releasing classic plush of fan favorite characters. First was the Two Headed Monster, followed by Herry Monster and last year it was the blue Yip Yip Martian.  

This years classic character plush is one of the smallest Muppets of all, Oscar's pal Slimey!

The larger than life 15.5" plush costs $26.95 and is available now at Sesame Place and on their website!

Sesame Place Exclusive Blue Yip Yip Martian Puppet!

Each year Sesame Place releases a special limited plush as part of their classic character collection. 

This year it was the blue Yip Yip Martian! Unlike their previous character plush this one's also a puppet!

Unfortunately only place to get currently is in the park itself.
