Elmo, Big Bird, Abby Cadabby and Cookie Monster reveal some of the exciting guests they have in store, why audiences have continued to love the show and more.
They also appeared later on Jenna & Friends where Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Leslie Bibb joined very special guests Elmo, Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird for a very special Social Dilemmas: Sesame Street Edition! Elmo asks for advice on being gracious when you lose, Oscar would like to know how to avoid small talk at parties, and more.

Today was Hoda Kotb's last day as host of The Today Show and a few of our Muppet pals stopped by to wish her well.
Earlier this week Sesame Street stars Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Grover headed across town
to give Hoda warm wishes, and a special H present, as she embarks on her next chapter.
Then this morning, while Hoda's children and family Hope and Haley were visiting, Kermit made a surprise appearance to sing "Rainbow Connection." You can watch it viaToday's website.
Goodluck on your next adventure Hoda and hopefully your replacement, Craig Melvin, is as big a Muppet fan as you are.
Last week Elmo tweeted a simple “Elmo is just checking in! How is everybody doing?” The tweet went viral, and by the end of the week he went viral all over again for getting assaulted by Larry David.
But, let's start at the beginning with the simple tweet that started it all.
“Elmo is just checking in! How is everybody doing?”
The tweet got more 200 million views and received responses from everyday people answering honestly that things with them weren't OK.
Including:
"Every morning, I cannot wait to go back to sleep. Every Monday, I cannot wait for Friday to come. Every single day and every single week for life,” a user wrote.
and “Not well. I serve in Congress.” from Florida politician Jared Moskowitz:

The next day Elmo responded to the outpouring with, "Wow! Elmo is glad he asked! Elmo learned that it is important to ask a friend how they are doing. Elmo will check in again soon, friends! Elmo loves you. #EmotionalWellBeing"

This post was retweeted by none other then the President of the United States adding, "Our friend Elmo is right: We have to be there for each other, offer our help to a neighbor in need, and above all else, ask for help when we need it."

Where Larry David was promoting the final season of Curb your Enthusiasm. For some reason Larry thought Elmo deserved a little tough love and scrunched his face without warming.
This prompted another viral moment about consent, physical boundaries, and a reminder that there is a person under the red fur.
The outcry prompted a response from David on Late Night with Seth Meyers:
