Muppet Stuff's 9th Anniversary!

Over the weekend our little blog celebrated it's 9th birthday. 

Since our last birthday we've launched the Muppet Stuff Book Club.

Had an IncrediChat with Dark Crystal author Caseen Gaines & puppet builder Tim Clarke:

Gave The Barretta Brothers a virtual tour of The Muppet Stuff Museum:

Continued our Thrifting Adventures with Cinema Sickness including two live streams where we discussed viewers Jim Henson related questions:

Teamed up with our friends at ToughPigs to "do good" for #BlackLivesMatter awareness.

We launched the "Muppet Stuff and More!" store for fans to get their own Muppet stuff and...well....more!

And even appeared on MeTV's Collector's Call. 

That's quite a lot for our little blog in only the last year.

Collector's Call Muppet Stuff Extras!

Last week I was featured on an "At Home" episode of MeTV's Collector's Call.

The Great Muppet Caper McDonald's Manager Glass

This promotional glass for The Great Muppet Caper (1981) was given to franchise managers of the fast-food chain. Chris has the keepsake in its original box with the managers name and McDonald's address.

Autographed Labyrinth Cast & Crew Poster

This poster for the 1986 David Bowie film was given to those who worked on the production. Chris has it signed by Jim Henson himself, as well as some other notables.

Hopefully Collector's Call will release the full episode for everyone that missed it or doesn't get MeTV.

Muppet Stuff Turns 8!

Today Muppet Stuff celebrates it's 8th anniversary, and we have a few surprises in store. 

What's so great about 8?

You can do a lot with 8. Beethoven only had "8 Little Notes"...

You could be a "King of 8":

But for us, it's chance to show how far we've come. 

Over the last 8 years we've posted over 1,840 articles, which we've shared with our 5k+ Twitter followers, and over 3,000 of our closest Facebook friends. 

We've been proud to join Krazy Joe's podcast MegaPodtastic, thrift for Muppet treasures along with CinemaSickness, and watch our friend and frequent contributor 
Adorkable Rachel become a professional puppeteer.  

Coming up, we're going to spotlight more fans, their collections, and even their reading skills in a new series we're calling "The Muppet Stuff Book Club."

But that's all, just this week we filmed an upcoming episode of Collector's Call!

We showcased a few of the prized possessions inside the Muppet Stuff Museum and taught the expert a few things about Jim Henson and The Muppets all while social distancing ourselves!

While the episode doesn't have specific an airdate yet, we'll keep you posted as to when you'll be able to watch it. 

Most of all though thank you for reading, watching, and sharing everything over the last 8 years.
