DST Announces Lips and Lew Zealand Action Figures!

At San Diego Comic Con, over the weekend, Diamond Select Toys showed off their upcoming Sweetums and Robin two-pack, that their Uncle Deadly and Pepe two-pack should be in stores soon, and announced their next two-pack will be Lips and Lew Zealand!

First Look - NECA Dinosaurs Action Figures!

NECA reveled at San Diego Comic Con today that they’re going to release action figures based on the Henson / Disney series Dinosaurs. 

So far only Baby and Earl “Not the Mama” Sinclair have been revealed, though it’s possible more figures will be announced.

Sesame Street Mecha Builders Heads To San Diego Comic-Con!

Sesame Street Mecha Builders is "building" a presence at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

Throughout the weekend Sesame Workshop is offering a variety of events to promote the new Sesame Street spin-off including panels with the cast, autograph signings, photo ops, and even a giant inflatable Mecha Cookie Monster!

The description on each event is below:

Photo Op with Giant Inflatable “Mecha Cookie Monster”
Visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. Promenade behind the Omni Hotel to grab a photo with a giant inflatable “Mecha Cookie Monster,” star of the new series “Sesame Street Mecha Builders.” Episodes of the series will play throughout the day and a Cookie Monster costume character will stop by each day for meet and greets. Please note, this event is free and open to non-badge holders.

All weekend, Martin Luther King, Jr. Promenade, behind the Omni Hotel

Autograph Session
David Rudman (Mecha Cookie Monster), Ryan Dillon (Mecha Elmo), and Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (Mecha Abby) will be onsite signing autographs for fans.

Saturday, July 23 from 2-4pm, at the autograph area located in the Sails Pavilion

From feathered and furry friends to robot heroes-in-training, find out how the iconic Sesame Street Muppets got supersized into CGI animated characters for the newest series Sesame Street Mecha Builders. Diamond Select announced they will have an exclusive Bunsen & Beaker Lab Accident variant available at the show and online.

DST Brings The Mayhem!

This year's San Diego Comic Con may be cancelled, but the exclusives must go on!

While you can't attend SDCC in person, Diamond Select is more then making up for it by releasing an exclusive Electric Mayhem box set including the long awaited Dr. Teeth and Zoot figures!!

Yes, it kind of stinks that in order to get Dr. Teeth and Zoot you have to repurchase Animal, Floyd Pepper, and Janice, but at least your band will now be *somewhat* complete.

The boys—well, the Muppets, are back in town!

The Electric Mayhem reunites on stage in action figure form packaged in a super detailed box set! For the first time, Dr. Teeth and Zoot join Animal, Floyd Pepper, and Janice in deluxe stage packaging, a 3-tiered window box with a fifth-panel door. Sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios.

Farscape’s 20th Anniversary SDCC Panel and Party!

San Diego Comic Con is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Farscape with a panel featuring Executive Producer Brian Henson, creator Rockne O’Bannon, actors Ben Browder and Gigi Edgley, and Rio Vista CEO James Ganiere. 

No details have been released on exactly when the panel will be held. 

Additionally Rio Vista Universal is holding an "Official Farscape 20th Anniversary San Diego Comic-Con VIP Party."

Friday July 19th at San Diego Gaslamp Quarter's Fluxx Nightclub.

Stars Ben Browder (John Crighton), Claudia Black (Aeryn Sun), Gigi Edgley (Chiana) are scheduled to attend along with Executive Producer /Director Brian Henson and Creator
Rockne S. O’Bannon.
The good news is you don't need a Comic-Con badge to attend, but the bad news is tickets start at $150. You can order them here. 

For Scapers on the east coast, the Barnes & Noble in Tribeca is having a release party Saturday July 13, 2019 4:00 PM for the chains exclusive edition of Farscape Original Soundtrack.

Brian Henson will be at the store signing copies to celebrate Vinyl Weekend.

"Messy Swedish Chef" Action Figure Coming to SDCC!

Diamond Select Toys announced their line of San Diego Comic Con exclusives including a "Messy" version of their deluxe Swedish Chef action figure. 

"Bork bork bork! The Swedish Chef has caused a kitchen catastrophe in this exclusive variant action figure from the Muppets Select line. With food splattered all over his apron, he comes with a slew of food and dishes, plus a table to cook on and even a chicken! Packages in a full-color window box with fifth panel."

Diamond Select Toys' Deluxe Swedish Chef action figure was sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios will cost $30 and the con will be limited to 500 pieces. 

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Funko SDCC Exclusive Pop!
