ReMIND Covers The Muppets!

As you can see below, Kermit and Miss Piggy grace the cover of latest issue of ReMIND Magazine.

Don't be fooled though, the issue's overall theme is "Kid Stuff", which we all know is not something Jim Henson particularly thought the Muppets were.

Even worse, while Kermit and Piggy appear on the cover, they nor any other Muppets get another mention inside the rest of the nostalgia laden magazine expect on this one page.

Notice what they didn't mention in that description? The Muppets. Ya know, the major image on the cover. 

I sent ReMIND a letter hoping they correct this missed opportunity in an upcoming issue.

Are you a fan of both The Muppets and Arrested Development?

You should be, and even if you are, you're probably not as big a fan at both as Jarrod Fairclough over at The Muppet Mindset is. 

He created a perfect mash-up using footage from ABC's The Muppets along with imagery, background music, and in jokes from the FOX/ Netflix series Arrested Development.

Adorkable Rachel Visits The Jim Henson Exhibit at the Skirball Center!

Last week The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited opened at the Skirball Center in L.A. Thanks to The Muppet Mindset, our good friend Rachel was lucky enough to attend the pre-opening press event.

The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited will be at L.A.'s Skirball Center
until September 2nd. Tickets and information are available at the Skirball center's website. 

Hallmark Rowlf Ornament - New Images and Info!

We now have more images and info about Hallmark's upcoming Rowlf ornament. 

The 3 inch ornament will play "Eight Little Notes," and you can now hear the recording used for yourself:

Yes, that's Jim Henson performing Rowlf straight from The Muppet Show!

The Muppets Break The Trailer!

The brand new trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 premiered today and you'll see a few familiar faces starting at the 1:25 mark:

As you can see, there will be plenty of Disney synergy in this movie. With Eeyore, Iron Man, The Millennium Falcon, and the Disney Princess all making cameos.

Even The Muppets show up, though solely in the background. Kermit, flying high above the  The Muppet Show logo...

and a banner featuring Beaker!

It's odd though that each of the main Disney brands get their own usual umbrella title, but the Muppets get labeled as "The Muppet Show" and not "The Muppets."

UPDATE: If you look closely under The Muppet Show logo, you can see the modern Muppet logo like the one below as well. 

Here's hoping we see some actual Muppet cameos in the film, and not just background set dressing when the film come out n November 21.
