Constantine Meets Fans at Disney's Hollywood Studios!
As part of the Villains Unleashed event this weekend, Constantine was shipped from the dreary Siberian Gulag to sunny Walt Disney World.
Sorry to spoil the magic, but it appears that Constantine was the only actual Disney
villain roaming the park. Constantine' s right had man Matt Vogel was there so the amphibious fiend was able to talk directly to fans and take pictures. All the other Villains "in attendance" were the standard Disney walk around costumed characters. Definitely a win for Muppet fans.
Attractions Magazine got a great video of their encounter with the world's #1 criminal.

Subliem Netherlands Hats
A company called Subliem has a new line of hats available in the Netherlands.
The clip art illustrated style works better for some of the characters then others. Fozzie, Kermit, and Miss Piggy all come off looking like bootleg knock offs.
Interestingly Statler and Waldorf are listed as "Waldorf and Statler", which could be a merchandising first!

Bootleg Muppet Costumes!
With all the news about unauthorized costume characters in New York's Times Square, did you even wonder where those individuals got their outfits?
Many come from costume shops, such as mascot.costumes, who are selling many Muppet, Sesame, and Henson costume knockoffs along side a plethora of other famous characters through their ebay store.
From Sesame Street they have:
From The Muppet Show:
As you can see, they've have various degrees of success translating the characters.
And that last one, wow. It really must have taken them quite a long time to think up that name. I mean it's not like he's name is the title of the show he's from or anything.
Obviously there's extra irony in watermarking photos of bootleg merchandise while not even knowing all of the character's names they're ripping off.

If you aren't aware, the "Ice Bucket Challenge" is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on one's head or donating to the ALS Association (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
So far two of our favorite Muppets have taken the icy plunge for the cause.
